This is a very obscure platformer. So obscure,in fact, that I've never heard of it until a few years ago and hefore reading the article I was unaware of its troubled production. The graphics look neat,at least.

It certainly has the classic Amiga style pixel-art that makes everything look like it is made out of rock. Of course, judging from the photos, in this game almost everything i s made of rock.
It is interesting though, when I had an Amiga I used to dislike this kind of game but after seeing the photos I would like to play it. I think I g e t the kind of European style games the Amiga excelled at better now.

I can't find a list of Amiga only games anywhere; however, Hall of light has a list of games which originated on the Amiga. It's not very helpful since it also lists PD games, demos, shareware games etc. but I guess it's a start. I suppose it is safe to assume that Amiga exclusives such as Lionheart were fairly uncommon given that many european games were simultaneously developed for several machines other than the Amiga: for example the Atari ST, MS-DOS personal computers and also 8-bit computers such as the C64 and the ZX Spectrum which were still produced in the early 90's.

Also, because of the popularity of the Megadrive in the UK several Amiga games where ported there.

You can use the advanced search for combinations of many filters, including "has conversion" and License=Commercial. I would expect that the major interesting releases are already covered by Magma Dragoon's small list above though.

There are some major ones missing, like Ambermoon (which was supposed to get a PC port but didn't because Thalion was closed, IIRC) and Darkmere.

I've seen a longplay of this game and I thought it looked very interesting, and it had a nice atmospheric quality to it with the ambiance replaced with music, not counting the few that play at certain moments.
I would play it, but I'd only get frustrated by it because I'm scatterbrained with these kinds of games.
