Excuse me for being that guy, but, at least, the Jumping Jack 1 part of the article contains a lot of typos, grammar errors, and even notes from the author, which were not answered later, like (which level?). Apart from that, it is a fair and balanced assessment of a franchise which has become prehistoric, but remains charming to those who were there when it was published. Comlplete and easy to read article... except parts of it really could have done with an editor, particularly the JF 1 article. It seems unfinished, published too soon. An example from the JF 1 article: "There is a set of train track that has an abandoned train on it. In the lava level there is a fry pan with a boiling egg in it (level what?). A construction crane acts as a ramp in the city level (which level). " That was clearly not ready to be published. It's no deal breaker, but come on. There are lots of typos too. Visibly, the JF 1 part of the article was written before the author had drunk his coffee...

Wasn't there a Jumping Flash article on the site several years ago? Just wondering.

Yeah, someone pointed that out on Facebook, and I realized that the article has been sitting around for so long that not only had we forgot to edit it, but there were also a few copy/paste errors that resulted in totally garbled paragraphs. I fixed up most of it (though I'm sure some typos still exist) so it should be substantially improved.

Technically speaking Jumping Flash isn't a Playstation Launch title outside of Europe, the phrasing is a little confusing.
Got to disagree with the article on this one, Jumping Flash 1 is too small and the lack of challenge is really harmful. Where as Jumping Flash 2 is glorious with delightfully large areas to explore. Also for some reason it glosses over the *look* button (R1) which directly addresses the enemies at unusual heights in Jumping Flash 2 as it allows you to manually aim Robbit.
Also Jumping Flash 2 has the Performance Medals which are rewards for completing certain achievements (somewhat similar to Rise of the Triad) and are a notable addition compared to the original game.

I still have some nitpicking to do: "is relayed to during the opening CGI video." Shouldn't it be simply "is relayed during the opening...." And a bigger problem, in the fifth paragraph: "There are however, two levels where Robbit is enclosed, so he can't jump. These actually end up being the most enjoyable levels, as Robbit no longer has his most Also in Stage 4, Robbit must navigatee a series of fast-moving walkways in order to advance." Wait, whaaa? That one is more problematic, because it creates an incomplete sentence devoid of sense... Again, sorry for the irritating nitpicking. I am in the hospital at the moment, and I have too much time on my hands.

The very last sentence also has no punctuation mark at the end.
I didn't know about those conspiracy theories that JF! got unfairly ignored due to Nintendo hyping up SM64.
Also, what game is the 3D Sonic screen from?

Also, what game is the 3D Sonic screen from? Pretty sure that's from the fan game Sonic Robo Blast 2 which has been in development for about 15 years.
