Translations are different. Even though they have no legal justification whatsoever either, there is the moral aspect of content created by the translator, however derivative of someone else's copyrighted work. There is no original content to a screenshot.

Regarding the 1st page of the article: Is...Removing Hall of Light's watermark from a screenshot by them a good idea? I mean, I don't know their story nor this site's reasons for lifting the watermark but I'm just worried about unnecessary skinny dips in hot water, if you get my drift. The reasoning for watermarking was of course mass-leeching without no attribution to the source and such. HoL also used to have some limits in place which affected browsing, I don't know if that's still place. For articles like this, you can probably get screens by asking via e-mail, at least that was supposedly done by some in the past. Of course that may take a little more time than removing the marks, although the latter probably leaves non-optimal choices.

Pardon the intrusion, but I don't think I saw the 1998 PS1-only sequel to Game Tengoku mentioned in the other thread...forgive me if I missed it. Anyways, here's a video of the first level (which, like the first one, takes place in an arcade) - as it turns out, though this game's even weirder than the original (though a poorer effort overall), because the second player can actually hook up a Guncon and blast enemies light-gun style while the first player is doing the scrolling shooter thing. It might also be worth a mention that all of the playable characters/ships from both titles are either borrowed from old Jaleco games or retconned into them.

The arcade Game Center Crown appears in some Sailor Moon games - Sailor Moon S (SNES), Sailor Moon Super S (SNES), Bishoujo Senshi Sailor Moon (SNES), Sailor Moon: Another Story (SNES), Pretty Soldier Sailor Moon (Arcade), and possibly more. The arcade appears in the stage backgrounds in the first three games. The arcade is an area you visit in the other two games. Pretty Soldier Sailor Moon (Arcade): Sailor Moon S and Sailor Moon Super S stage (SNES, seems to be the same stage in both games): Bishoujo Senshi Sailor Moon (SNES): Sailor Moon: Another Story (SNES, can't find an interior screenshot):

One to add to the Sims section: the DS version of Sims 2 (which is pretty much an entirely different game... as are all of the console/handheld versions of 2) actually have playable arcade machines. One that can be played straight away is a simple Space Invaders clone called Space Armada. Others can be bought when they're available on the store, although I have no idea how those are.

Heh, nice to see you guys included the Sims 2 DS stuff. Also, an addition to the Bonus Round section... The "Save G.K." minigame from Namco's SNES soccer game 90 Minutes: European Prime Goal (aka J.League Prime Goal 3)

All the ports with Act 3 included have Metal Gear rebuilt using the port's system (PC Engine, Saturn, PS1, Sega CD).

Watching the Elebits LP posted, the beatmania IIDX and pop'n music arcade machines are specifically beatmania IIDX 13 DistorteD and pop'n music 14 FEVER! respectively. They were the most current of the releases alongside Guitar Freaks V3 at that time. IIDX 14 GOLD would later have "The Smile of You" ending theme from Elebits added into its songlist the following year, and pop'n 17 THE MOVIE would recieve the DS sequel's ending theme "Infinity of Our Love" along with the prior song.

The second stage of Contra: Legacy of War has two stand-up cabinets with fully playable mini-games (that are about as joyless as the game itself). One is similar to Gyruss, and the other is a maze game.
For the console cameo page, there's a giant Super Famicom hanging at the beginning of Junk Man's stage in Mega Man 7, and if you use Rush Search right below it, Rush digs up a Game Boy.
