I have the urge to replay this already.
A sequel should be releasing soon, I hope to cover it as well. It's supposed to go all in on the moral relativity established from the expansion.

Never even heard about this Celso guy, maybe because I'm a novice of the Visual Novel world. I'll keep an eye on him.

Never even heard about this Celso guy, maybe because I'm a novice of the Visual Novel world. I'll keep an eye on him. He's pretty niche, even in VN circles, but the amount of stuff he's helped produce is staggering. It's also all over the place, quality wise. I want to cover more of his work in the future because it's so fascinating, but his stuff doesn't get the cheap prices I'm used to.

The newly released Humble Weekly feature Loren + DLC for just $1, and you also get Hatoful Boyfriend with it.

I like seasons of the wolf more than Loren (if you play on nightmare anyway). For one, resources are much more important.
It's combat encounters are much more difficult in a good way. Money and items are extremely important, there are more no-return dungeons, you can only get health and mana from items in-combat etc (you better stockup on those potions and scrolls whenever you can). Bosses just wreck your shit (especially the optional ones).
The story is so-so. Better than loren in story (not much of that epic shit that just falls flat), but some characters are kinda annoying. Especially the comic 'relief'.
The dlc is kinda shit thou. Some of the art on cutscenes are very different (and some is terrible) to the point i guess he lost the original artist. And the story... well... i will just say it's weaker in general, although it gives some small amount of closure. I was especially annoyed at the retcons, for example to the tribeswoman story, which ruins her character in a amazingly shortsighted way just for some extra drama. And it's not the only instance of that 'for extra drama' thing.
