PART 2 COMING SATURDAY, MAY 30, 7 PM CST/8 PM EST GAME CLUB 199X PRESENTS: THREE DIMENSIONS OF PAIN Hi there! You might have noticed that we're playing Battle Arena Toshinden & Bushido Blade for this month's GC9X podcast. So, how are you liking them? Pretty cool, right? Nice and 3D, and everything? That's great. So. There's plenty of other fighting games we could have picked, so I'm thinking we might take Saturday night to look at those. We'll mostly be looking at PS1 fighters, although there's always the chance we might dip into entirely different systems! That's not all! There's so many 3D fighting games out there that one stream just can't hold 'em all! So we'll be doing two streams, one later into the month. One will cover Western made 3D fighters, while the other, we'll talk about 3D fighters from Japan. Question is, which should we cover first? YOU DECIDE! We'll leave some of the games on each side as a mystery, but to whet your appetite: JAPAN   WESTERN   |

It's a good one. Nice to watch the whole stream since I only caught some of it live. And I realized today that I have been confusing Mace for War Gods for years. Mace seems to be much better than I remember it.

Really disappointed that I missed the Mace part of the Stream, but still happy it got represented. Still one of my favorite fighting games and its quite good, especially compared to something like War Gods.

I honestly really like Mace a lot. While I don't think all of its ideas are necessarily good, like the way the multi-level arenas work, it's generally a pretty good game in my book. It's pretty smooth, responsive, has some cool character designs, and the fatalities are pretty decent. Although, Lord Deimos's is probably the best one. All the others are kind of downhill from there.
I kind of wanted to show off the chicken, because yes, you can play as a chicken in Mace. Unfortunately, there was no time to show him and the method of unlocking him off. X:
