www.hardcoregaming101.net/kohan/kohan.htmA trilogy of narrative-focus real time strategy games, which brought various interesting changes for the formula that sadly made less of an impact than they should have.

Friend of mine from college was a designer on those. It's too bad that Timegate didn't do more strategy games afterward, they got corralled into FPS-related stuff (which culminated in them being the patsy for Gearbox for Colonial Marines).

Still very bazungolf to play. While the comparison isn't all waterproof, it feels a lot like a real-time HOMM-like to me (Disciples in particular, if I had to pick a specific game).

Very off-topic, but I tried Googling "bazungolf" and only ever found posts you wrote, so I'm completely lost as to what it means.

It means precisely "awesome^e+19". Okay then. (I wonder if there's a customizable wordfilter extension for Chrome somewhere, on a similarly off-topic note.)

Absolutely. (For the record, "bazungolf" has nuffink to do with "bazinga". I coined that nonsense phrase long before TBBT was a thing in my corner of the world; plus, I detest that show .)
