I purchased THIS on ebay: www.ebay.com/itm/Adventure-Game-Huge-Collection-47-PC-Games-Must-see-Many-still-sealed/253232954810?ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT&_trksid=p2055119.m1438.l2669The funny thing, I bought it specifically because it had the DVD-ROM edition of Schizm: Mysterious Journey--unlike most cases where a DVD version exists, there's actually content differences between this and the more common five-CD version (the DVD is basically the game the creators intended, but they had to cut out some actual areas, angles and puzzles to fit it on five cds--this is something to keep in mind should an article on this game ever be done). But it had other games I wanted but hadn't seen in the list/had temporarily forgotten about. Both the Crystal Key games. Rhem The Longest Journey (though I have the GOG version) and.... EVERY game in the Myst series, including Uru, which I don't even think was listed in the description. Also Desperate Housewives: the Game. Because there's a Desperate Housewives game. Not sure how that works. Some of these won't run on my Win98 gaming rig so I might be in the market for computer parts soon. Now to use this as part of my evil plan to put Link in Myst and watch him waste his time wondering where the Hookshot is because he thinks he needs to climb high places and move blocks to solve an area.... Okay, nonfacetiously, this could not have arrived at a better time since I'm recovering from surgery and need something to do while I'm grounded, and more exciting games might literally hurt. Bet nobody ever thought of Myst clones having medical applications...

I remember Uru having very fuzzy way of its integration of expansions into the main game. Good luck figuring that out.

I have Longest Journey on CD. Beware, though, it is glitchy.
In general, my adventure game collection is heavily weighted on the pre-Gabriel Knight 3 side.

Such a large haul and you got it for so cheap! The DVD version of Schizm actually came out on GOG a few weeks ago fulfilling one of my long time wants. They're not all winners, but that's definitely a great price for the good games. I guess what counts as a "hidden gem" varies by person, but for the hardcore adventure fan, I'd say definitely Keepsake and maybe Mysterious Journey II, i.e. Schizm 2, mainly due to its high system requirements at release.
