According to my 3DS play log, I've put over 300 hours into Fire Emblem Awakening, which is more than twice the amount of my most-played Steam game, Warframe (at only 146 hours).

Persona 3 is probably pretty high up there on the accumulated time over severl playthroughs of a non open ended game. First time with Vanilla must have been like 70 hours, anoter 85 for FES with The Answer, and another 2x 50 for my two times playing through Portable. Monster Hunter World seems like the kind of game where you need to spend over 200+ hours. My friend seems to have spent 400+ hours on it, alone. That really depends on what you want to do in the game, since Monster Hunter is one of those franchises with a very fluid time investment. There are so many optional missions you can do, so much just grinding for gear or playing online for fun... but if you just wanna play what these games consider the "storyline", you can be done in 50.

I put 100+ hours into Persona 3 Portable. I think I did too much grinding.

180 plus and counting for Breath of the Wild. Switch portable mode FTW.

It must be Final Fantasy VI, followed closely by Shining Force II. I’d say I put at least 150 hours into both of them. Honorable mentions are Dragon Quest VIII, Secret of Mana, Fire Emblem Awakening and.. uhm...Sim City! Or Tetris, tbh.
