Oh yeah!  There's one enemy death that was really distinctive for me, and I didn't realize that digitized from Conan the Barbarian until years later.  I found a video that shows all the clips where Golden Axe takes the live screams from.

I love Space Harrier's 'Get Ready!' and 'You're doing great!' to the extent I use them in everyday conversation when talking to my son, trying to mimic the way the announcer sounds!
Alex Kidd in Miracle World's dying sound effect will always be memorable to me because it used to be used in a show on Australian TV 'Hey Hey its Saturday' and when we were young we were amazed at a TV show using something from a videogame!

There was barely any music in Legend of Blacksilver, but the game had awesome sound effects. My personal favorites are the echoey walking noises in the dungeons (combined with the crackling sound the torches make) and the sound of your foot steps when walking through a swamp.

The scream in Impossible Mission when you fall into a hole scarred me for life.

The sound the priest made in Age of Empires.

In Black and White, when one of your villagers died you heard a voice whispering "death". At first it was confusing because I couldn't make out what it said so I just heard a random whisper.

At least when it comes to yells and screams, you can't get more iconic than with good old scientists from Half-Life. There's just something comedic and quotable about them, with a lot of mods and YouTube vids still poking fun at them decades later.
