I know a guy over at the Retrogaming Roundtable (the Digital Press boards) that has that exact avatar. If you are G-Boobie, I welcome you to the fold, and if you are not, I still welcome you!

Wii enthusiast here.
I've been looking at this site for a while and decided to join the board. I'm always searching for a cool enough place to talk about videogames other than at HigherVoltage.net ( under the name Yashiro Nanakase ) and that place is supposed to be only for fighting games, which I really like but I'm not particularly very good at.
I'm currently playing through Twilight Princess while waiting for Warioland next week. My other consoles are a DreamCast, original X-Box, and a GBA SP. And since Joshelplex felt like sharing, some of my fave bands are UNKLE, DJ Shadow, and Daedelus.

Might as well talk about myself as well.
I go by Valesta, age 24, currently living in New Hampshire, though I'll probably be moving to Tucson, Arizona in about a year.
Most recently hung out with the Touhou Project (a popular doujin shooter series) community, but grew weary of that, then pretty much moved on to here. I've been following this site for a couple years, but hadn't really participated much in the community until recently. I love how so many obscure games and series are getting the attention they deserve here.
I'm pretty big into games that tell good stories, thus JRPGs and bishoujo games (story-centric , of course. None of that "fuckfest" bullshit). I also like fighting games, mostly Soul Calibur, quite a bit. I was pretty big into the MegaMan series (at least up until Legends) too.
Besides games, I also like story writing, fencing (been out of practice for a few years, though), movies, and cooking.
I consider myself to be fairly pleasent, though I am sort of the sensitive type, so I hope I'll get along with everyone here.

Super Galvatron here. My favourite video game genre must be fighting games, I'm a big fan of The King of Fighters and SF. I also have a love of Transformers and more recently, Hokuto no Ken, which is just one of the best things ever. When I'm not watching the adventures of the man who makes people explode, I'm more often that not writing about him for a site I co-run which is about cartoon/anime overviews along with other stuff which is usually video game related. I've been reading articles on this site for a long time and have great memories of finding out about games I never would have found out about otherwise -way better than studying for exams, too.

Kimimi here, some of you have have bumped into me elsewhere on the internet already. If you haven't then the basics are - I love all sorts of games, especially Sega, RPGs (been buying/looking into a lot of Chinese ones lately), side-scrolling beat em ups (fighters for you US folk, right?) and manic vert shmups. I've owned most of the big stuff between the Atari 400 to the PS3.
Recently played - Yggdra Union (GBA), Sora no Kiseki the Third (PSP) and Taiko no Tatsujin Appare Sandaime (PS2).
