I was looking around on klov.com, and I seen that Konami made a beat-em-up of Powerpuff Girls in 2001. The game isn't mame'd though, so I was wondering if anyone here played it before, and if it's any good?

Probably a hoax. I think a game as old like that by Konami would've probably be emulated by now.

The Klov entry seems fairly legitimate and an arcade game based on them wouldn't not make sense.
Honestly there's many games that aren't emulate by now Jonny that's kind of a silly statement..I don't believe any of the Naomi arcade setups are emulated yet and nothing after that..we only just got CP32 and there's still several underused arcade boards that'll probably never see the light of emulation.

Klov contains a lot of fake information that spreads to all the other sites as facts. I doubt it exists.

Not emulated, but have a dumped rom at least. Many Naomi arcade games have rom dumps even when they're not properly emulated yet. And let's be honest, a game based on a semi-popular cartoon franchise developed by a well-known developer such as Konami (even an arcade release) probably wouldn't have gone unnoticed by many. There used to be a time when KLOV would let any user with an internet connection submit any kind of BS they wanted without having to create an account or provide a legit e-mail. At one point it got out of hand They're more restrictive now, but some of the BS managed to filter through. The Final Fight entry is another example of this. Poison is clearly a newhalf in the Japanese Final Fight canon, but one fan in denial wrote otherwise in KLOV.

It pops up on Wikipedia too..lets be honest given that it's a 2001 arcade release I can really only see this appearing in Japan and given that probably amoungst it's key demographic outside of Japan the game would easily be totally unknown. I can't see many collectors being interested in this game it's not a particularly interesting franchise to own (or to bother to dump).
Granted it could be dumped but I stand by that it probably exists. Given the lack of information it is possible that it's made up but then any individual would sabatoge websites for that particular reason is bizarre as it seems like no one cares anyway.

She's always been a he since the early concept designs. Just look at the concept artwork for Roxy and Poison at Capcom Classics Collection and you can see Newhalf (in kana) written under them. If it was released in Japan, it would've gotten its own website, just like Konami's Punch-Mania games or Gradius IV (both which came out during the same era). As it stands, its clearly a hoax.

Someone has clearly duped the entire internet, with the game cropping up in IMDB, Gamefaqs, Klov, Wikipedia amoung others, maybe it was unreleased. Someone who can type/speak japanese should really look it up under then name it'd have been made under "Youlide-Chui Nu".

I searched for it under it's Japanese titel + MAME and it's Japanese title + Konami in google and found nothing in the first few pages. I don't think this game exists.

Man it's too bad it's a hoax...
But KLOV is the same site that listed an AC version of Aleste 2 (which doesn't exist) so no sweat.
