- The Skull Man : One of the 2-3 last anime I thorougly enjoyed but gets slammed so much by other viewers...
- Kurozuka : The other one of the last few enjoyable anime romps...
- Anything related to Space Aventure Cobra except for the movie that means Space Adveture Cobra TV, Cobra The Animation: The Psychogun, Cobra The Animation: Time Drive, Cobra The Animation TV : Maybe one of my all-time favorite franchises. Just pulpy fun space opera ride in bizarro world.
And upcoming movies like Redline and Tailenders look promising.

Puella Magi Madoka Magica is one of the greatest things to ever grace my life. It's about cutesy magical girls!
Oh and deconstructing the living fuck out of the genre and animating my nightmares and making me hate everyone and everything and crying nearly 76 times an episode. And it may be just one big Faust allegory. It's only 12 eps long (last two delayed until the 21st due to the quake/tsunami) so it's quick to catch up on. And it has music done by Yuki Kajiura. You really cannot lose, unless you hate things that are awesome and heartrending. In which case do get out.
SHAFT you magnificent bastards. Marry me.
Also also, if you don't think Mami has the most pimp hat in existence, you don't know fashion. End of story.

Okay yeah just saw the last two eps. Thanks for making me cry forever. Well played, SHAFT. Seriously this is one of the best things ever you all go watch it now it's only 12 eps what is wrong with you accept Madoka as your lord and savior now.

Just started watching Ano Hi Mita Hana no Namae wo Bokutachi wa Mada Shiranai. Albeit it's just 2 episodes in, I have a feeling I'm gonna like this series. I also like the character designs/animation team that seems like the same one as Toradora. I just hope I don't stop liking it later on like with Toradora.
Also started watching Nichijou. Although I don't always get the jokes, I like it. It's really cute and manages to keep me amused. It also kind of fills my cravings for another Azumanga/Lucky Star-like slice of life.

I need to start watching it. Zawa Zawa Zawa Zawa I'm watching "Master of Martial Hearts" on Netflx. Man, is it shitty. That's pretty much all I can say about it.

I just started Lucky Star. I don't see it on the list. Is it review worthy?

It starts ok, but goes downhill after the first 12 or so episodes.
By the end of it, it's mostly just KyoAni jacking themselves off.

Fuck, Osamu Dezaki died.
Also, Kitten hates anything Japanese so take her opinion with a grain of salt (half joking).
It really isn't review material though, because you're either going to love it or you're going to hate it.

The girlfriend and I just spent yesterday watching Gunbuster and today watching Diebuster. If you love TTGL, you need to see these just to see where it got its coolness from. These chicks were inventing crossed arms, cool sunglasses, heroic speeches, living off burning spirit, and combining before it was the in thing. OGs right here for sure.
But I AM A HUGE BABBY WHO CRIES AT EVERYTHING that is all. Both endings made me cry at least 15-20 minutes, if not half an hour. I'll never be able to hear a certain phrase ever again without tearing up. If you've seen it, you'll know what it is. If not, trust me, it'll ruin you in a good way too.

If you have Anime on Demand, check out Coffee Samurai. It is really unlike anything I have ever seen before, and only 30 min. long for those with a low attention span. It is funny, offbeat, and slightly romantic. The animation style is a little weird (looks Korean) but it really gives the characters a unique charm. The story involves a samurai being reincarnated as a coffee machine. The plot is just as weird as it sounds. Coffee Samurai = Highly Recommended! ;D

I just got rid of my Anime Network On Demand. Lol
I might pick it up again. I didn't have time to watch/keep up with anything before.

Diebuster was incredible. I remember not liking the first episode but then it really grew on me. The ending was particularly good, as it ties into Gunbuster's ending so well. Those series together are so very good.
