I've been trying to boot Panzer Dragoon Saga on SSF, but I keep getting "Saturn disc unsuitable for system" warning. I've tried burning the image, as well as using CDMAGE to repair it. No luck so far. Any idea on what the problem could be?

SSF doesn't like region changed images, so if it is region changed, change it back to the original region. Oh, and use the correct area code.

Just use an american PDS with an american bios. You can also not use the bios and that sometimes works.

Go to Options -> Area Code
Switch it around and see what works, there's at least one that should work with your game.

I own three japanese Saturn games (Shining Wisdom, Linkle Liver Story and Shining the Holy Ark). I've been trying to get them to work with the SSF, bu no luck so far. I wonder what I'm doing wrong.
EDIT: Oh, didn't see the Area Code thing... gonna see if that works..
EDIT#2: Hmm... it says Japan. So... that must be good, right? But still, nothing!

You need to have a Pentium 3 or above to be able to run the emulator.

Nope. SSF Will never run with a CPU like that. You need at least 2.5 ghz to run it decently.

The CPU in your laptop is a Core Duo though. The "3.0GHz" minimum is if you had a Pentium 4 (the specs also state Athlon 64 3000 being the minimum, this CPU runs at 2.0GHz). A Core Duo at 1.83GHz is actually a bit faster than either of those. Clock Speed Isn't Everything (TM)

If it's a Core Duo then it should run SSF.

It should run, maybe a bit slow. The problem is no one really knows what are the specs to run the emu. The author is Japanese and I haven't seen him giving much "user support".
