The Famicom Data Recorder was a device that allowed you to save game data to a casette. This was before the introduction of battery saves, so it was the only way to save anything at the time. It also allowed you to save data from the Family BASIC program. My question is this: Are there any NES emulators that accurately emulate the Famicom Data Recorder?

VirtuaNES 0.97, my trusted emulator of choice, works with it. Fairly new, too.
EDIT: Just tried it with Excitebike. Works perfectly.
