As soon as he's able to get around to it, my brother will be doing a Steel Battalion article. He just picked the game up recently- special controller and all for the X-Box and is stoked over the possiblity of doing a review for it..

Hey. I promised Kurt an article a while back. I make no promises, but I'd be interested in writing articles on: [Key:]Red - Unsure whether it's obscure enoughBlue - May be able to write from an aspect and/or about particular content unmentioned in prior reviews- Second Sight
- Doshin the Giant
- Gitaroo Man
- Dark Chronicle
- FF: Crystal Chronicles
- Shadow Of The Colossus
- DEFCON
Don't add the whole bunch to the list until it's decided which should stay and which should go, and if I'm actually up to the task of writing so many bloody reviews in the first place. Thanks. ;D Thoughts/Comments (for whatever reason)?

Does Final Fantasy not sell well there? It sells well enough in America and Asia that what you said would be like saying "I would like to do a entry about those PSP GTA games". Those others were more obscure than a few of this site's entries as it is. Except SotC. I would say that is too popular, however.

I think Gitaroo Man and Dark Chronicle (including Dark Cloud for confusions sake) definitely deserve articles, though I personally think that FF: Crystal Chronicles and SotC should wait a year or a couple before we tackle them, for they are still fresh in the mind of many gamers (although Chronicles is fading into obscurity, it DS sequel sould help people remember it). Doshin the Giant and DEFCON are a must imo, and although a Second Sight article would be nice, it's not as obscure as those two.

Doshin would be great. Even Second Sight. That game was pretty cool and definitely overlooked.
Gitaroo Man and Shadow of the Collosus are a bit too "indie mainstream" but I wouldn't be against articles on those, providing they were really good. The Dark Cloud one should cover both games though.
I would prefer not to have one on Crystal Chronicles, because it's technically a Final Fantasy game. Unless we do a mega Final Fantasy article. Which...I'd probably be up for, actually, even though it's massively popular.
I'm not even sure what Defcon is so that's probably a good topic as well.

Semi-Off-TopicnessDEFCON is just... well, I could describe it, but it's cheap (from either Steam, or the creators' site), and any information you need may be found at their site ( Here, at 'Everybody-Dies.com'... Lovely). Pick it up, if you have a job or charitable parents, and can spare about... $15, I think . It's based on the film Wargames, the movie which created the term 'firewall' and made people think about how computers may, in fact, lead to our demise (not androids, computers). Go figure, geniuses. Back-On-TopicnessYeah, I meant a Dark Cloud / Dark Chronicle article. While FF is big in the UK, Crystal Chronicles was not. At first, multiplayer FF was appealing. When it was revealed that you required 4 GBA's / SP's for play, and the link cables to connect them to the Gamecube, that aspect suddenly became unattractive. Too much hassle, and way too expensive to be practical. I was thinking of maybe writing a short article somewhere (maybe not a main article... a feature, or something) about the potential for exploration and some of the hidden, unmentioned (as far as I know) depths to SotC, but I suppose not many would find that (A) Interesting, or (B) Actually having any point. So, scratch that one, I guess. Gitaroo Man is way underrated and underplayed here, too. Loved by everyone I know that's played it, mainly people I introduced to it. It got exposure due to a re-release in the US of A, but it never became big over here. Pity, as I could kick a lot of ass in a Gitaroo tournament. Finally, Doshin and Second Sight would be great to review. I could do those no problem. Dark Chronicle may not be feasible as of yet, as it's fucking huge, and I've not quite completed it yet. It's hard to try and play the quest when you can piss about with the Atlamillia all day ;D . Edito-Edito-Acushon!:While I'm on a roll here, with so many articles planned, how about a Plok article too? God, I love that game so bad.

I've always wanted a GameCube, but so far it never been on my priority list. After google-ing for a screenshot of Doshin the Giant, it has moved to the top. Seriously, if I had known of this game, or just seen one screenshot when the cube war released, I'd have broken down and bought one on the spot! It's just love at the first sight!
Anyways, how's the Wii GC compatibility holdin' up?

Are you asking me? How should I know? I'm a teenager with hardly any money. I can't afford a Wii

Nah, I'm piss-poor too, that's why I'm hoping I can skip the cube, buy some random GC games and wait until I can afford the Wii.

Good idea. I'm waiting to start an article. Once I get confirmation on which to write, and any preferance priority-wise, I can get started. I must warn you, though, I'm a relatively wokrer - I can type quite fast, but I'm a perfectionist (even when the end product isn't as perfect to others as it may be to me ). Hopefully, with the motivation I'll have from writing about some games I really love, I'll be able to do them a bit faster. How long am I expected to work on an article for, and how much content is the article meant to contain?

Is uncle55 still around? or did he just drop out of sight after his SFIII tangent was parodied at Cross-Changer. If he's not, it might be prudent to drop his reserves. (after a quick email to make sure he's fine with it). Don't bet on it, I'm still alive and writin'. School bogged me down and after I got my motivation back, time was the big article equalizer. Anyway Blood Will Tell is completed, probably Lazy Jones to come next, then from there I dunno, Berserk, Quintet mega article I haven't really decided yet. I'll add more to my reserve list as I see the need to do so, but I also want to make sure I'll be able to get'em done, as this delay for this one was inexcusable for me, but couldn't be avoided.

Has anyone grabbed Cubivore yet?

The problem with Cubivore is that it's getting a lot easier to find than before because of reprints but Gamestop is still charging new prices for a used copy of it. Ugh...
