Pretty sure they don't.
The nakedness is really just flickering BTW. You don't really make it out in gameplay.

Bumping this since I finally finished the article. Lemme know your thoughts. Very much goodness. I'm tempted to go out and get Groove On Fight fer me Saturn sometime. I also cracked up with this quote: "Put some pants on, son!" Indeed. ;D I like it a lots, but if you haven't noticed, the character portraits fail to load. Also, I think you forgot to mention one character from Matrimelee; Hikaru, the boy with the cane.

Hi! Great site. Decided to join here in order to notify a couple of mistakes in the recent Gouketsuji Ichizoku article:
- Range Murata didn't worked on Psikyo's Sengoku Ace series at all; its main illustator was Tsukasa Jun.
- Noise Factory is not Evoga. They're completely different companies. Indeed, the latter is Mexican, and just hired Noise to make ROTD. It's said that Noise was formed up from ex-Atlus staffers; maybe that's why they got the permission to make Shin Gouketsuji Ichizoku.
Keep the good work.

I get Tsukasa Jun and Range Murata confused a lot, the point where I once thought they were the same person. Did he do the Hot Gimmick Taisen games too?
So, lemme get this straight: Noise Factory actually made both RotD and Matrimelee, but RotD was...published/produced by Evoga? I remember hearing something about one of them being Mexican but that just struck me as very odd.

I get Tsukasa Jun and Range Murata confused a lot, the point where I once thought they were the same person. Did he do the Hot Gimmick Taisen games too? Actually, their styles are pretty different, if you pay attention. The Hot Gimmick series has had several artists working at the same time for the same game. Both, Jun and Murata worked on it since the very first game. Right. I don't know which produced Toukon, though. I find very weird it was Noise itself, but it's sure it was not Atlus. It's odd. And it gets odder when you know that they had their own arcade hardware and that their only 2 games for it were Japan-developed, being used later by Koreans (...). Seems that in Latin America, 2D arcade games are still well loved (and being produced, in some form). That may explain it to a point.

I played Matrimelee not too long ago and found it very fun. Atmosphere-wise I like Olof but in terms of actually fighting I like Keith, Jimmy, and Reiji.

There's a trick that works on every SNK boss since Amakusa Shirow in the original Samurai Shodown. Figure out whatever move you have to do with your character to make the boss jump/do their anti-air attack while you're recovering from your move and free to retaliate against them. Do that repeatedly and they're dead. Also use Clark and just do the Super Arabian Backbreaker a lot since the computer can't handle running throws.

[ UNNNNGGGHHHHHHH... *bad flashbacks* Both O.Zero and Igniz are equal bastards, IMO. Zero's strikers are really cheap, but I can only get past Igniz's fucking chain blades about a quarter of the time. However, I figured out that if I just pit one character against the ungodly powerful bastard, and make the other three team members strikers, my character is actually powerful enough to deal out significant damage! And also, this doesn't give either of them the chance to revive their health after losing one team member, since you only have one! When I found that out, they didn't seem as satanic as they once were. Still, THEY REALLY SUCK CORKBOARD. KoF2001 certainly ain't one of my favorite installments... ... but I digress. Time to ask an overdue question: Do the above ladies show any full frontal IN THEIR YOUNG FORM?! God help Atlus if they expose their flat old...... So that's how you beat that bastard? Even with the continue function, Ignitz punked me out every single time I fought him. I was playing the AoF team, and the closest I got was when I managed to hit him with Yuri's Shun Goku Shatsu rip off. One more hit and I woulda had him, but he cheesed me out. Argh. I really do hate SNK bosses! >.< ; As for the article...very interesting. The only exposure I'd had to the series before was Kinta, who I saw on some sites "Worst fighting game characters ever" article. I forget which site it was though.

That's how I managed to knock him out, anyway. I beat them a few times in the past by just slapping them a few times, be REALLY defensive, and just have more life when the time runs out. That... was a frustrating strategy. 2. I think the website may have been the Gameroom Blitz, which indeed has some interesting commentary on fighters. It was my first exposure to the atmospheric Psikyo fighter Daraku Tenshi - The Fallen Angels.

Power Instinct series is pretty cool, what with the homosexuality and the killer grannies and all. Love it. Really love Matrimelee, despite being unable to win against the Princess. The Murata art only makes the experiance better though.
