I was just thinking about this today. What happened here?

I assume that like most fan projects, it withered away and died. These kinds of things are rarely ever completed.

I dunno. All of the updates have had a great chunk of time between.

Sorry about the delay in progress. I've been completely out of contact with Margin, and he was suppose to be sending me more tilesets and sprites... I would like to get all of that taken care of before I progress any further with the engine, as it helps me visually.
It's a work in progress, and I haven't given up on this. Be patient, and the game will come! If need be, I'll finish it myself, which is where I was at before coming across this topic. I want to use Margin's graphics, but I too want to see this game complete.
In the meantime, I'd be interested in hearing some ideas for the game. I'm thinking something along the lines of a sort of "Master Quest" like in Zelda: Ocarina of Time, where the entire game is mirrored once you beat it. Or maybe having a quest system to help you know where to go or what to do. Just some ideas.

How about a "second quest"? Like, with a completely redesigned map that you or someone else creates?
It's a cool game, but some people have undoubtedly memorized it by now. Having a brand new game world to explore would be a cool extra.

Well, on that note, depending on how the remix goes, I was planning on doing a sequel. We'll see how it goes. Keep the ideas coming!

Careful with trying to do too much at once. Keep a few extra features in mind to add, but focus on finishing the main game first, then start adding extras.

Hi all, just checking in here to let you know that this project is still alive. I've been going through a lot lately and the project has been on the back burner. I know it's been a little over a year since my last post, but I determined to see this to the end.
I've been doing a lot in regards of programming and I'm going to start working on the project soon. I wish Margin would get back to me about the graphics, but it looks like I'm going to have to do everything by myself. I've even lost contact with my co-programmer Nomnomplus, which is a shame because she's more experienced than I in programming.
So, continue supporting and I'll release more updates in the near future.

UPDATE: I decided to go 3D with the remix. The game will still be LotW, but with depth. I'll have a demo soon showing what I mean.

Hello. Managed to get back into my account. Still need someone who knows how to do pixel art, because I have no clue. Oh, and I'll be making the game in Godot.
