So that Smashing Pumpkins LP I wanted? It arrives late due to the seller posting it *after* his holiday- not only that but it's scratched to the point not one single track plays correctly. Urgh- I hate trying to get a refund off people on Ebay- I just wanted the record  |

I hate getting stuff from ebay that's either damaged or pirated. I also hate having to file a "you got fucked" claim through paypal, although I guess I'm lucky you can get reimbursed at all.

I was really upset- you don't wanna pay £24 on something just cause it has beautiful art! (I mean the cover is a bonus compared to the Gloomy CD art) I've not got more than 1 refund off Ebay before- and I always approach the seller nicely too :\ Fingers crossed this guy gets back to me asap and I don't have to file disputes! |

It does suck when that happens, but it also sucks when people abuse the privilege of having eBay pretty much always side with the buyer. I got this disc returned to me a few days ago. The buyer claimed it was "badly scratched and dusty." After taking a damn week to pay me and being otherwise skeevy. I think he got it and got buyer's remorse and wanted his money back. Nothing I could do about it. |

Nothing I could do about it. Agreed. It's definitely unfairly weighted in the favor of the buyer on both ebay and amazon marketplace. In cases where something's not right I do my best to contact the seller and give them the benefit of the doubt. I guess in my three cases where I pursued action/filed a paypal reimbursement I felt it was valid. First time the guy basically fucked off with my money, second time the guy kept making excuses for two months and then bitched at me when I filed the dispute, third time the guy sent a DVD box set in a paper envelope, and that's all that arrived. I'm sorry that you had to deal with an asshole on that sale, Ike . |

Nothing I could do about it. Man, what a scumbag. I really hate people doing that kind of thing. Ebay really has a lot of issues. I used to be a total addict and then barely used it for a number of years. From my own selling and buying experiences I just wish people would read the damn item description before bidding or in the case of sellers- be honest about the condition of the item. There's a huge difference between "a few cosmetic scratches" on a CD/Record for instance and "So scratched certain songs won't play" - that goes for games too. I've got a few "Like new!" games in the past that hand thumb prints on them and dog hair(!) etc in the boxes. Kinda makes me ill. |

I hate it when some people throw their cigarettes into flowerpots. It's the most inelegant thing in the world. What in the world do they think: that if you throw enough cigarettes in the flowerpots they will grow into nicotine?
I have been seeing that a lot in my old work (as a guardian and cleaner in sports fields of my city) and even thought I was always OK with my job I would never clean the cigarettes from the flowerpots just for the counteraction and only: I have cleaned them one time, I have cleaned them two...then I have fed up with this shit. I could deal with any shit in my work expect from that. I have even mentioned to my bosses and in any regular people who were coming at the field that if some people have no manners then I will not be the sucker who will clean for them. And even if anyone would dare to complain about the flowerpots I would put them to their place even if it was the mayor himself. Therefore nobody dared to complain.
The reason I mentioned that now is because these days when I was watering the flowerpots in my house (I still live with my parents which they are on vacation these days) I found some cigarettes in them. And when I asked my mother if anyone did that (for example my sister who smokes and comes regular to our house, she's married now) she didn't said anything.
I regret that I didn't did that in my work but I will do that now: put I sign where it says
"Hey asshole: put more cigarettes in me and I will grow nicotine.".
