Same for mine- and given one of our workers is a bit... morbidly rotund shall we say- she always says it's too worm and therefore even in the dead of winter has a window wide open. Fuuuu.... I just bought some storage boxes- normally a nice thing to have right? Unfortunately I have to use it to take away most of my Dreamcast, PS1, PS2 and Gamecube games from my room and place them in the attic! I'm living in a tiny room and well, I keep buying cds and such. Until I move out again my cool retro stuff must be banished to the attic! At least these might keep them safe :\ |

I'm way late on the uptake with this, but the fact that Spectacular Spider-Man got replaced with Ultimate Spider-Man is fucked up. That show was really great. Had a lot of heart. I can barely stand to watch 30 seconds of the latter.

The only fun episodes of USM so far was the Wolverine/Spidey body switch and Found Footage styled Hluk. Everything else was mediocore, and far more depressing just because I knew Spectacular Spidey had been replaced by it. Twofold, now that I know Avengers: EMH, was cancelled to make way for an Avengers series in the same vein as it.

Twofold, now that I know Avengers: EMH, was cancelled to make way for an Avengers series in the same vein as it. Those, and possibly the Thor Frog episode were the only ones with anything of merit. Who'd have thought a comedy show featuring Spider-Man would be so boring? I've watched them all because I'm bored, but that show is pretty fucking terrible. It's "should be a violation of the Geneva Convention" bad. The upcoming "Hulk: Agents of S.M.A.S.H." looks equally bad. Then again, hey, we've got Jeph Loeb to thank for this shit (big surprise there). It's really a shame that Avengers EMH got canned - the second season has some great stuff, but it would have been better if they actually had time to not rush through it (sadly, the lame Secret Invasion plot wasted half the season). Also I second Dooz's post about "people." |

Yeah, the terrible authoritarian treatment we'd been getting got a lot of final solution/holocaust references. This doesn't piss me off per se, but it's kind of odd and irksome... I opened the door to my game room today and inhaled deeply and realized "Wow this room smells like OLD video games!" - kinda like ancient plastic/Goodwill/basement/who knows what else... it's hard to put into words. Anyway I have the windows open now and I'm trying to air the place out.  |

I agree that "new electronics" is a great smell, I can't say the same for "old electronics."
One of the best retro gaming stores around here also sells a great deal of incense, I think the games absorb a bit of that... Bottom line, my room smells weird!
The BEST smell is Magic: The Gathering cards.
