Yes, that is true. America has a rather large amount of fundamentalist Christian groups, and they tend to be very loud and obnoxious, particularly given that they get a lot of attention from certain politicians. Loud and obnoxious atheism is to some degree a response to that. After all, when you turn on the news and hear people talking about how awesome Jesus is and how the country is going to hell because of all the people who don't adhere to fundamentalist Christian values, you start to get kind of cranky. Well then deal with it, you at least have the mass media catering to you. It's worse for people of all faiths with all of the bullshit on the news, in movies, and garbage on tv calling us retards for believing in the possibility of a higher power. In contrast, crazy militant Christians tend to only have face time in certain outlets and thus are relatively easy to ignore by comparison. So yeah, don't talk to me about "cranky." I feel it's pretty obvious that both of you are exaggerating.

Yeah, I'm just being me on this.
With regards to what Succubus said earlier, for the last eleven years I've been having a crisis of faith over why Seth McFarlane had to survive 9-11.

It's a fucked up sum of events that all of us have had to live with. Sometimes shit just don't work out, yanno?

I tend to tolerate or otherwise ignore things that would otherwise piss me off. The only things that really get my goat are:
I hate driving, because it shatters the blind faith I put in people (PEOPLE REALLY ARE STUPID! TnT) I hate dealing with militantly intollerant people, because it goes completely against what I believe in. On the flipside, I hate dealing with militantly tolerant people, because they rarely have real opinions or insight.
So, unless you're:
1. A terrible driver. 2. An intollerant jerk. 3. A tolerant crybaby.
I'm pretty sure we'll get along.
Beyond that, I hate being sick and unable to sleep (like right now, where I'm posting this at 3:30 a.m. because I have the flu and can't stop coughing).

I'm sick of digital download-only games. Most likely because of some bullshit from Sony, EDF 2017 is now download only. Which means I'll have to buy one of their expensive-ass proprietary cards, and wade through a 3 hour download just to be able to play it, in addition to paying the $39.99 I would have had to pay for a physical copy. Fuck.

3 hours may be a happy fun-time estimate. It could download in an hour. Or it could be ten hours. No way to know with SONY. Enjoy!

There's been stuff that downloaded ultra fast for me on my shitty ethernet connection, whereas my brother's been downloading SFIVAE for the last week and is only at 50 percent (and he's got Verizon FIOS). And Hikaru, I am super pissed; seriously, WTF - I'd debate getting the game if there's a PSN/PSN+ sale but at this rate I think I'll get the Japanese version.

Yeah... The PSN servers and their inner-workings are beyond any rational explanation. Let's call Senior Spielbergo?

As much as the price is a bitey-point, I'm not a collector, so I'm not as angry as I should be, especially since apparently it takes up less than 700 MB of space.

Something really unimportant but one thing that really pisses me off is Pokemon nostalgiafriends who keep using Pokemon memes and/or doing Pokemon cosplays even thought they have only played the first generation (and maybe the second one). The irony is that lots of Pokemon memes they like to use are not even from the first two generations. And by the way, babble all the time about playing Pokemon Red/Blue on your Gameboy Classic in 2013 instead of playing the latest Pokemon games (or at least Pokemon FireRed/LeafGreen, the upgraded remakes of Pokemon Red/Blue or even better Pokemon HeartGold/Soulsilver which are freaking awesome and one of the best remakes I've ever played) won't make you look cool. It will make you look like a fucking hipster.

I've probably said this before, but this is one of my big ones.
When, in writing/typing, people use "of" instead of "have", eg : "would of", "should of".
And this is where somebody asks me to construct a perfectly grammar-correct sentence in a language that I have not been fortunate enough to have been taught at all.

OK, then construct a perfectly-grammar correct... oh I give up. No-one's going to ask you that. I guess the "could of/should of/would of is a very purely British form of grammatical idiocy. It has reached critical mass long ago, and is basically unavoidable in the comments sections of British sites... It is annoying. And that's coming from a drunk whose first language is: "foreign"! (I'll stop with that. Promise. It was just too tempting! - and appropriate)... Having to wait so long for the new "Community" and - praise the Lawd! - "Arrested Development" is getting on my nerves. Enough already. Give us our Bluths. Come On! It should of come back years ago.

Atma - Maybe it's just to dry there?
Shitty weeks. Had bad news from the doctors which already had me depress (I'm not dying but it isn't great either). Been "off" all week. Had a day where every few minutes I a hard time of thinking of the right word. I just couldn't remember the word scab for a while. But to top it off I just feel over in the shower and hit my side pretty hard. I don't think crack rib hard but it hurts a lot.

This is the first time I ever heard about that. Speaking about grammar, one thing I hate about myself is when I write "stupit" instead of "stupid". (Almost) Every fucking time! I don't recall making this mistake when I was young, why now?
