But Borderlands, like many other FPS games, makes weapons vastly less accurate when not aiming down the sight. Basically, unless you intend to waste a lot of ammo with spray and pray tactics, it's usually better to aim.

Starbucks has free internet. :3 I used to be internet technical support for an American internet company whose name I will not mention. Whenever they are under-staffed they would hire a bunch of random people, train them but cut their training down by up to half sometimes, then throw them out on the floor. I was one of these people; I was sat in a corner cubicle by myself on my first few days and I worked until 3 am generally. Most customer care/technical support that is free is very poor and I guarantee that when you get put on hold, sometimes you have someone brand new who has barely been trained and is frantically running looking for someone to help, or trying to get a hold of help desk.

Yeah, I always tell people that, just because, it's unrealistic to think of it without the other people on the other side of the phone. I mean, they're people too, and I always suspected such tomfoolery. Good to see my claims were satisfied.
Of course, I've never called for technical support myself. Maybe if I'm the one who needs support, I'll get frustrated too, and be selfish, without remembering that other people have their own lives/troubles, et cetera.
It's very easy to do that.
edit: that actually is something that pisses me off, either when somebody else or even myself forgets to think of others. I feel very stupid when I'm selfish that way.
another thing that pisses me off, is how my mom is on unpaid leave off work, because she's sick with something and they took away all of her shifts at the hospital until she's better/they find out what it is.
This means for me, no games for a while, which isn't that bad because I can understand there are more important things. But it also means our cat still can't go to the vet and get her shots and stuff, even though she's like a year old and has escaped outside! She could have worms or be pregnant, and we wouldn't know, and it really bothers me that we don't have the money to get it checked on!
Come to think of it, even when my mom was working we still didn't have the money, so what the fuck. I'm really mad about that.
I want Cat to be healthy, and I don't have power to make sure she's safe! And my mom doesn't do anything about it, and my stepdad doesn't either. Maybe I should talk to him again...
edit2: Oh yeah, my cat's name is Cat, so yeah.

I dislike when people specifically refer to Fatal Fury: Mark of the Wolves as "Garou" just because SNK didn't bother to change the end of the intro for other regions. It is just a really indirect thing to call a single game that when the series itself is titled Garou Densetsu in Japan.
Then again, not alot of Mark of the Wolves fans are actually Fatal Fury fans.

Hopefully SNKP will take a break from KOF to work on something new, but I'm not holding my breath . It seems like they'll be more likely to work on XIV since they've already got the assets from the past two games.

Let me kick up the hate a notch. How much do you hate the neglect Fatal Fury has gotten? Or GODDAMN LAST BLADE ARRRRRRRRRRUGH You're my hero. I love Last Blade. I think it is hilarious that we got games like Art of Fighting Anthology and World Heroes Anthology over Bakumatsu Roman: Gekka no Kenshi 1-2 for the PlayStation 2 in the USA. For whatever reason SNK Playmore refuses to port games that would actually sell here. I'm still waiting on The King of Fighters 2002: Unlimited Match... but at this point I doubt they'll even release a PS2 game over here. Our best bet is future downloadable content or a PS3 / Xbox360 version and I'm not betting on either. Don't get me started on that circulating rumor about the Mark of the Wolves sequel. Fatal Fury is going nowhere.

I work in a game store.
Some of my customers think they do too.
Woman: "Hey, how much is a used Wii Remote?" Me: "It's $2--" Nerd: "20 dollars!" Me: "...It's $29.99 for the Wii remote by itself." Nerd: "Oh my GAWD..." Me: "One with t--" Nerd: "Nunchuck." Me: "...One with the Motion Plus attachment is $39.99. A Nunchuck is $15."

I never have good experiences with people who work at GameStop. They always talk my ear off given the chance, and I'm always spoken to like some peon who knows absolutely nothing about the game I'm reserving or the series surrounding it. It really annoys me.
There is a dramatic difference between offering some information relevant to the purchase and going into some in-depth discussion with someone you don't even know, talking to them like they were mentally inferior to the subject by default.

Sometimes, the desperation rolling off of a nerd is nigh-palpable. You've got guts, I'll hand you that.

When people assume that since you're young and you show affection for old games, that you're posing. I might not have been alive when the NES came out, but that doesn't mean I wasn't raised with it and I didn't play the shit out of it, so when I talk about goddamn NES games, I can talk about goddamn NES games because I played them! You don't have to be 30+ years old to have experience with games from the 80s or earlier, cripes.
