It pisses me off when i see people puting Dogs in clothing and carrying them around in purses... I didn't even know people did this to dogs. Seems like a step below animal cruelty. Fear not, unfortunate pups... I will avenge you all! (Some at least.) Are you from PETA?  Putting aside that let's think for the positives of this "trend" just like a dog might think: - Since they fit in a purse it mean they're small. Since they're small you barely see them when they talk at the street and as a result you might step on them by mistake. So it's safer for them at the purse. - Walking at the street? Booooooo-riiiiiiing! Let's have our stupit bosses carry us. And if we want to take a shit? Let's do it at their purse. Hey! It's not our fault if they insist to carry us on their purses. Ha! Stupit humans! - If a thief tries to steal your purse, bad luck for him: he will have a nice surprise waiting him. |

Doing it for safety reasons i understand, but that's not what i see peole doing. They buy a dog and treat it as if it were a collectors item to show off to the world. (Hence dressing them up with ear rings, fancy shirts and such.) And while it may yap a bit, i doubt at dog small enough to fit in a purse would make much of a fight for an armed criminal. Even thought I'm not animal lover, that's something I hate too and find it incredibly stupit. Just like the restaurants, beauty salons e.t.c. for pets. What's next: brothel for pets? |

Well, don't have anywhere else to get this off my chest, and it's been years since it was an issue.
Right, so back when I lurked on GameFAQs, there was this user who seemed nice enough by the name of "Bandit Ken". Borderline weeaboo, but one of those that liked the more obscure stuff. Then he got banned for trying to incite a forum war and came back with a horrible alt-account name (Otaku No Anime). Still wasn't all that offensive, until he committed account suicide and came back again.
Now he was Kimori, and suddenly Pokémon was the only good anime, and he gained this really annoying love of Western cartoons. As in, constantly came into topics on the anime forum to declare how much he loved them and how much he thought Japanese shows sucked. All the freakin' time. Then he committed account suicide again.
Then he came back once again as "LadroAnima", and Europe was his big obsession, with a massive obsession with the series "W.I.T.C.H.". He even rewrote Wikipedia's page on the magic girl genre to be one big advertisement for it. And on the board, he'd post his terrible rap lyrics about how awesome he was because of, well, it's hard to be sure what exactly he was doing. Apparently he thought he was "owning all the weeaboo trolls", when in fact all he was doing was yelling over and over how "W.I.T.C.H. is the most popular comic in the world!" on the anime forum. He especially had this really weird hatred of the giant robot genre, which seemed to center around this weird expectation that a pilot should be able to do everything without his machine.
For example, giant robots sucked because you couldn't explore the big underground base with one. Because that's totally something that happens in most shows. Or that they're mostly the same size in a given work, despite the fact that there's no real reason to expect them not to be. One of his arguments boiled down to "Star Wars would suck if the Jedi had to use giant robots", which is like saying the fantasy genre sucks because Die Hard would be silly if John McClane used a magic wand.
Thankfully, I never had to directly interact with him, and he seems to have vanished from the Internet, replaced by a still-annoying weeaboo clone who's thankfully much more low-key.

I use facebook, cause I find it an easy way to stay in contact with people or organize gatherings quickly, but man my home feed is a clusterfuck. I went through my friends list, getting rid of a bunch of people that I didn't talk to/made dumb statuses and it's still stupid, but the worse part is that it comes from some people that are my actual friends that I see face-to-face. I thought I was done with it when I deleted all the people just doing all that "only TRUE BELIEVERS will repost" shit, but I guess not since even people I know and actually appreciate being around are being super dramatic and posting passive-aggressive bullshit and having family feuds in comments. I think that they're cool, but the stuff that people put out there really makes me doubt it! Or maybe I just have unfairly high standards. It's really annoying, at any rate, but I don't wanna cut off contact, since I'm under the impression that people take being "defriended" very seriously.
I think facebook in general is really dumb, but it can be really convenient sometimes.

I know that 97% of you will post this as a reply, but my friends will be the 3% that don't. In honor of everyone who just wants to use HG101 to talk about games, and not read tons of stupid shit, don't post this, not even for a second.

Ugh. Reminds me of that idiotic meme a year or two ago, where people changed their user pics on FB to cartoon characters to STOP CHILD VIOLENCE!!! I personally beat seventeen children to death just to spite them all.

I am so tired!
I had to go to Mandatory Fun Times last weekend, where I spend from Sat morning until Sun evening on a company trip, surrounded by 200 coworkers. Got home late Sunday night, ate dinner, packed, and was up for 6:00a to take the train to Osaka to sit in an office all day.
Basically, the only time I get to see my friends and family is on weekends, but I had to go to this mandatory trip so now I'm pissed off and don't feel like working.
