Im not saying that Im pro-SOPA. In fact, Im disappointed that this is what they can come up with stopping the piracy. There needs to be a more direct (and probably more blunt) approach.
Thing is, in the past year I've been more and more dropping my pirating habits. Accepting digital distribution helped a lot, since I've been seeing stuff like Steam sales and Humble Bundles where you could get like 10 games for five dollars (or 5 for a cent). My backloggery has bloated and I cant see reason why I should download this one specific game when I have over 80 new games unfinished. And more and more I buy things, more and more I wonder why on earth some people dont.
And some even pirate those Humble Bundles, which are also for the charity. Even one cent is too much.

Cancer pisses me off. One of my guildies on WoW is going through chemo right now and it's kicking her ass. I'm just glad she got it caught early.

Our financial lady at work died in November from small cell cancer, and it's still a very fucked up thing to me. The fact that there's no cure for cancer is just another reason I hate the pharmaceutical companies, since they're probably sandbagging any serious research developments to keep the status quo. |

When half of you is covered in fur, I think that counts as being a fury. Not all catgirls are furries, but I think there's a non-empty cross-section between the two. I'm at jury duty right now. Some person drew a tranny in the bathroom stall. That's the type of person who could be your peer in a jury deciding your fate. Speaking of cancer. I come from/spent the first 18 years of my life in a city aptly nicknamed "Chemical Valley".
When I was in highschool one of the main guys on the basketball team got testicular cancer in grade 10, had to have an operation and I believe had to get a testical removed to get rid of it. A girl who was in my grade had an older sister two years our senior who got diagnosed with breast cancer when she was in late highschool. Someone who I've went to school with since kindergarten (lived in my general neighbourhood) was diagnosed with melanoma in his first or second year or university. He got it treated, took a year off school, went back and graduated, got a great job in his field, then the cancer returned and he died in 2010.
My cousin has had two flare ups of uterine cancer since she had her first child and had to get surgery both times. She's the same age as me. I'm 24. Luckily she's caught it early both times. I wish I was making this shit up.
I have been trying to feel more fortunate that I've had as few health issues as I have. I try to eat very healthy, cut processed shit out of my diet plus things like white sugar, white flour, etc. Lots of water, stretching/yoga, exercise, chill out time. '_'

Conker's BFD. As a kid, I so wanted Twelve Tales. Banjo-Kazooie was just the B-game until it came out, as far as I was concerned. After all, it was going to have stuff like real-time facial expressions and some damn good animation that still holds up pretty well today, judging by the few released videos.
And instead, all that came out was some crass, ugly-looking gimmick.
