Not sure if anyone here's seen them, but I've been seeing them a lot when watching things on Hulu; there are these commercials that are basically "Yeah, the gulf coast is great! It's better than ever! Tourism is up! Yeah! Come to see us! Presented by BP." I dunno, I find them in extremely poor taste, especially since BP's getting ready to have felony charges leveled at them. Obviously they need damage control, but it seems very crass and opportunistic.

I've seen those ads on TV. But the Hyundai ones are much more effective at annoying the holy hell out of me.

What the hell happened with "talking animal" movies? Babe was pretty damn awesome, but everything since has been about some washed up comedian being assaulted by obnoxious forest/jungle creatures with celebrity voices. And the Narnia films pretty much phased them out after the first film, with the exception of Reepicheep.

I think it's amusing that both Brendan Fraser and Jenna Elfman ended up in a movie together, considering that their relative success made absolutely no sense to me.
