Well I was only kidding, I'm not well informed on the situation, and wow, I just noticed the other current debacle also has use of the verb 'Rising' in it!
Guys come on, why are you like this? Why here? Why you have to bring out the bigotted minority high school bully in me, making me think of lousy things I wanna type watching you all behave like stereotypical nerdy white guys hating life b/c life hates you? I would recommend against Australia unless you like unnecessary government restrictions on video games and a host of animals that will fucking kill you.
Canada's looking pretty nice, though. But if SOPA goes through, the RIAA/MPAA and their bought goons in the United States government can play Internet World Police, so nowhere is safe.

It's one of those things that a lot of people seem to be ignoring because it sounds so patently ludicrious, but seems to have a good chance as passing. NDAA is pretty fucking atrocious too. |

Actually, in relation to that bit about Ninja Theory, it also annoys me how the press seems convinced that DmC plays the same as previous entries because you've got a sword, guns and can launch enemies into the air. That's a bit like saying Doom 3 plays the same as Doom because you've got the BFG-9000 and shoot zombies.
The whole thing looks so damn sloppy, and it's insulting how they're showing off the exact same footage from TGS and calling it new, and they still haven't shown it off in playable form. I mean, the entire thing pauses after you land a blow, for one. And there seems to be far too great an emphasis on platforming. Not to mention the fact that they've yet to show off a way for enemies to counter your ability to keep them in the air indefinitely.

Some drunk mother fucker just tore through our neighborhood and smashed into 4 cars, tore some bushes out of our neighbor's yard and ended up stuck between a few 150-year-old gravestones in the cemetery across the street from my house. Jesus.

My cousin's bad heart put him in intensive care again today, and nobody bothered telling me until just now.
This also happened last year, same month, and I'm fairly certain near the same day.
Merry Christmas.
EDIT: And it turns out he's actually recovering right about now, although I'm still a bit worried. Ah, well.

It's barely over a year old, and my Xbox is already throwing in the towel.
Tried to played Batman Arkham City, new, straight out of the case. 10 minutes in and the disc is unreadable. After that it wouldn't play past the main menu.
It works now, but only because i installed it. The Xbox i have has always been a little shit, but this is insane...
(Should have gotten a PS3 instead.)
