I hate juggling multiple emulators. But in PSX's case it's a necessary evil, on the off chance that something decides to not work on 1.6 no matter what plugin setup I use. In 1.7 (any game, any plugin setup) there's a brief but annoying moment of slowdown about once every 10-15 seconds that I never had in 1.6. I tried disabling frameskip but that didn't solve anything. In 1.6 (Nearly all possible video plugins) a patched ISO of Policenauts (Disc 1) freezes after I select any of the first two modes in the BPD Shooting Range. I could use pSX since it seems to run the game but: a) No mouse support b) Supposedly the emu will falter in certain sections according to the patch Readme I could just skip the place altogether since I don't think its mandatory and the normal shooting scenes work just fine so far. But I need to know if: 1) Will I miss on any interesting scenes (there was one about David and his knack for just disabling his targets)? 2) Will Meryl actually "let me have'em" if I beat her 550 score on target mode lvl2 (assuming the score is beatable to begin with)? Thanks in advance for any help.

Use the soft plugins ONLY and don't apply any filters or weird configuration. It worked fine for me.
Pete's soft plug is the best one to play the game and the other soft plugin with the weird name is good to be able to see the credits.
If you want to save state, created a folder called S inside the save state folder.

Hell yeah bewbz here I come!
Yeah. I found out about the save states trick from your thread at Emuforums, Rey.
I got the latest version of both soft plugins and it seems the shooting range scenes work like 1 out of 10 times on 1.6. However it seemed to have fixed the slowdown issue in 1.7 (while introducing some other wonky effects but what the hey). I'll do some more testing but hopefully that should have solved it.
Thanks guys!

Has anyone tried it on the Xebra emulator to see how it runs?

Has anyone tried it on the Xebra emulator to see how it runs? I think the only real issue with it is that the mouse doesn't work properly in windowed mode (it behaves as if the game were running in full screen), though that may have been my video settings there.

Just use the R and L buttons to autolock on the enemies. You don't even need to move the mouse.
