Need help with Ape Escapre on ePSXe 1.7

So, I'm trying to get Ape Escape to work. I have the sticks set up, and I know to hit F5 to activate the analog. But when I play, they just don't work right. Like, I can only run in certain direction, every other way walks, and other problems. I'm using Windows XP with Service Pack 3 and a 360 controller plugged into the controller, with some unofficial driver I found from here: xbcd360guide.50webs.com/download.html

Can somebody help me out?

Also, I checked my other games, like Psychonauts and DMC4, and they work perfectly with this controller, so I don't know.

Check out Emuforums; they help a lot of people get set up with ePSXe.

Ape Escape is a bit funny, as I couldn't get my copy to run on my PS3, and it's the only game to give me problems. So I'm not surprised an emulator would give you greif.

(it will load mind, it just won't detect the sticks so can't be played)
