Nope, they missed some stuff, but I honestly don't remember which combinations yield the untranslated speech (though I don't recall running across any untranslated text).

God, I remember playing CS2 and being utterly confused by the dialogue. It always sounded like they were having a conversation with someone who wasn't actually there.

I've never gotten to do many two player runs of Shikigami 2. Kind of a shame, I bet I'm missing out on even more comedy.

I don't know how many times I've replayed Shikigami 3 because of the dramatic change option(one player can see the two player story modes).


Also, watch the prologues in the dialogue viewer before starting a game in Shiki 3. They're not shown when starting the game proper.

Emilio and Fumiko's is fourth-wall breaking hilarity.

I highly, highly doubt it. Elemental Gearbolt takes place in a whole other world, or at least really far into the future. I think it's just a shameless cameo(like 'Time Gal').

I'd still like to do an article on EG proper, as it's a really good game.

The article only mentions the two Shikigami no Shiro Evolution-Versions (red/blue). But what is about the earlier Shikigami no Shiro release (without "Evolution")? What are the differences between these versions?

IIRC, Evolution added arrange BGM(also in 2 & 3), an art gallery, interviews, stuff like that, none of which you'll find in the US version.
