Hey fellas, sorry I've been away so long, but I thought if anyone knew the answer to my question it'd be one of you guys! Anyone know of a decent PSX emu for use on a Macbook? I've just bought myself a really swish Macbook for my mature student course in sound engineering and would like something for down time. Any other emu recommendations welcome. Cheers!

You may wanna think about bootcamp to dual boot some XP, then run epsxe.
I think there was a port of PCSX for Mac a long time ago, but I'm not really sure anymore.

Thanks, I'll take a look. Any other good Mac emu's recommended? bookmark meI'd recommend avoiding anything ported by Bannister and you're going to have some slim pickings for other systems (PS1 is restricted to PCSX for best results and even it is pretty shaky). If you want to play around with OpenMSX (the best MSX emulator!) or Mednafen (awesome PCE/NES/GBA/Lynx/NGPC/WSC/GBC emulator), you'll probably want to be using the NekoLauncher (MaxOS 10.4 and up only!).

I haven't had any luck with PSX emulators on my Macbook, alas. Your best bet is probably to run one under Boot Camp. - HC
