Here's a video review of Wild Guns made by Happy Video Game Nerd: Click!Worth watching, if you ask me. And perhaps adding a link to this in ZZZ's Wild Guns article? Thanks for tipping me off to one of the most needed statements in internet video history.

Hey Sh3llsh0ck!!!, I beat Wild Guns without losing a single life and I still got the same ending. What exactly is it that I need to do and what is the difference in the ending? I didn't say anything about the ending, but I think there's only one. I was just mentioning that the Japanese version is faster and therefore harder. -Another piece of trivia that I think ZZZ didn't mention is that every enemy killed subtracts 1 second off the clock. Time is, in this game, relative to the number of kills. Thanks Einstein!

In your article it mentions an alternative ending. "Hardcore, advanced players will find themselves shooting down enemy bullets, earning mid-level bonus stages, or trying to unlock the alternate ending. " blamethecontrolpad.com/wildguns/wildguns.htm

" blamethecontrolpad.com/wildguns/wildguns.htmYou got me. That shouldn't be there. I guess I didn't confirm it when I wrote it. Also, that video review link posted earlier by MP83 mentions that shooting down bullets raises the special gauge faster. I didn't know that. And yes, it is confirmed.

Interestingly enough I decided to check, my copy used to be a rental, so I'm missing the first and last 4 pages.
Page 15 settles it.... I quote
Game Screen cont.
8) Guage - Every time you hit one of your enemies bullets with your weapon, the guage will begin to turn green. Once the guage has turned completely green, you will be awarded a Vulcan gun. You get to use the Vulcan gun until your guage is back to zero
end quote.

*kick* Sorry to kick this age old thread, but apparently Natsume is working on a yet-to-be-released remake as a PS4 exclusive, it will be called Wild Guns Reloaded and it looks pretty good
