Overview: Following the death of King Achab, it is his wife, Queen Jezebel, who took over the reigns of the kingdom of Benjamin. ...er, maybe you should come up with new names.

Hi, I have made a RPG with rpg maker vx ace which features: - Classic turn based combat; - Visual novel presentation; - Over 70 music; - 74 chapters; - 56 characters; - A branching storyline; - At a low price. Welcome to the forums; you might be more interested in the "Shameless Self-Promotion Thread" in the Off-Topic section.

Also, it is really hard to get people to pay for a RPG Maker game filled with default assets.
Re:Actor looks really sweet, even if I am not into these games normally. I am going to give it a go.

Trajes Fatais (Fatal Costumes) - a promising Brazilian fighting game with gorgeous sprites and probably the first one with only one attack button done right. So far, there are five characters, two of them being "B-Sides" that play a bit differently from their counterparts. Beta version (with offline versus only) can be downloaded here: onanimstudio.itch.io/trajes-fatais-minimal-beta1

Months ago I wrote about Galak-Z and how it was released without the last of its five "Seasons". Just yesterday, almost certainly on the trail of the game being included in this month's Humble Monthly Bundle, a free DLC called "The Void" has been released. It's not, however, the promised Season 5 but just and Endless Mode - justified in-story as endless alternate universes where the god guys sooner or later die - with daily challenges. Meanwhile, the "Coming Soon" of S5 has disappeared from the selection screen, and the price of the game has been permanently halved to $9.99, bad signs that S5 may never come. The developer was probably in dire straits at the time of the original release already, and lacked the honesty to release the game as Early Access.

So I've found by chance this free game on Steam ( Khimera: Destroy All The Monster Girls) and even if it looked like crap I decided to download it for a quick laugh and maybe to satisfy my fetishes. To my surprise I found out it's actually quite good for a free Steam title! Basically it's a MegaMan-esque platformer with fairly long levels and infinite lives but a catch: every time you die, treasure is subtracted from the total; also everything is studied to play it in time attack once you've beaten the bosses and found the various secret areas and items (and there are MANY, trust me). The tunes are nice, the challenge normal-to-high (high if you want to beat the best times), cute humour and characters (ever seen a pizza slime?) and there are several touches I didn't expect such as a world map and an entire NES-esque game you can play at the protagonist's house. Definitely recommended if you like old-style platformers, gentle humour and timed challenges.

One of my online friends worked on that, actually. I believe he was the musician? I'm surprised to see anyone mention it, though I do suppose things travel fast on Steam. I'm glad to see people enjoy it.

I'm glad to see people enjoy it. If you have the occasion, tell him I like his work, especially the Ragazza town, castle and pirate ship themes. I'm also going to contact the author on Twitter (which I almost never use) and write a positive review on Steam. That's how much I was surprised with this game and found it enjoyable!

Sorry for the double post, I wanted to talk about this Italian puzzle game that won an award at the 2016 Global Game Jam in Turin: Kami Gami. To be honest I didn't really understand what you are going to do, just that the player character Mr. Kojima (!) has to manipulate objects around him in order to appease spirits that have trapped him in the shrine. Here's the game's site and below a gameplay trailer: Maybe it's too early to talk about it, but it looks good and promising enough to me.

Suits: A Business RPGI don't know if you guys had the chance to check this game. It's a fun, short and funny RPG inspired by OFF that's like a buck in steam. store.steampowered.com/app/410670/Some jokes might be a bit too juvenile (420 lolol) but the game has an interesting story and a very cool looking art style. Heavily recommended for a nice afternoon.

It's a fun, short and funny RPG inspired by OFF that's like a buck in steam. store.steampowered.com/app/410670/ A friend of mine gifted it to me on Steam! I finished it some time ago. I had the same impression, the satire against capitalism and workplaces is heavy-handed and not too original, but in the end it fits with the surreal and bizarre style of the creepy distopia. By the way, I thought it was hand-drawn but apparently not. For being inspired by OFF it's quite harsh against it... the Batter and even the creator Mortis Ghost are two low-level stupid bosses that the main character disposes of with no problems!

I seriously hate it when Kickstarter projects show you interesting illustrations but not gameplay teaser. How do they expect to attract donators when they don't know how the game will look like?
