Lately, I've been getting into emulators with a real-time rewinding feature (aka: sands of time ;D). It's been making my retro gaming experience so much more enjoyable than ever before, so much in fact that I'm currently seeking emulators for several systems that sport this very same feature: The ones I'm using: NES: Nestopia SMS/GG/GEN: Gens+ REWiND! I'm trying to find in particular TG16 and GameBoy/Color emulators that can do the same, but no luck as of yet. Is anyone here aware of more emulators with this feature? PS: bsnes, ZSNES and VBA don't count, as their rewinding capabilities are regrettably not in real-time.

Real-time rewind seems like a pretty difficult feature to implement, so I'm not surprised that more emulators haven't added it. But yeah, Nestopia owns.

I love this feature too, it really gives old games a new lease of life I use it on NesDS and it's plenty of fun to mess around with

I just discovered that the XE emulator can do real-time rewind on a bunch of systems (TG16 included), the only downside is that the emulator itself runs the games with choppy scrolling (in normal play), and there seems to be no way to tinker with the frame rate to make them run smoothly. Mednafen also seems to do rewinding with a bunch of systems, but I still couldn't manage to run it due to its horrendous nature of relying on command line parameters instead of a simple GUI to do everything. www.xe-emulator.com/mednafen.sourceforge.net/
