This is absolutely not what you're looking for, but Videlectrix's Where's an Egg? is similar to what you describe! I'm wondering if the game was influenced by the same game you're looking for? Nothing is list on the wiki page in any case...

Got a couple Mega Drive/Genesis games that I need help with. The first one was some kind of dueling game where your characters were some kind of robocrabs and you launched your claws to try to steal balls from your opponent. I also remember the single player being incredibly frustrating.
The other was some kind of football game where your players were different kinds of robot and I think you had to buy and maybe assemble them on a limited budget? Never really understood the game and traded it in pretty quickly.

Yeah, that's the one, thanks. I think I only ever played the single player mode and after the first few opponents it started getting so difficult that I remember actually throwing the controller a few times in a fit of rage. Of course, being 8 or 9 years old at the time was probably a part of it too...

So, seeing Captin Bloods Communication System with the weird icons: I vaguely remember a game I got to know through HOTU back in the day. I think its native platform was the macintosh, but I believe there also was a dos version, I'm not sure about that. It was also all about communication through graphical icons and you had to deduct and do detective work, figure out who you could trust and who not, though I have to admit I do not really remember the goal of the game.... I think it was kind of turn-based and the goal was to prevent a murder or something like that. I think in all versions the "graphics" were minimal, mainly with the icons, and entirely black and white...... Andy ideas? Try Trust & Betrayal - Legacy of Siboot?

Try Trust & Betrayal - Legacy of Siboot? Yay that is it. Thank you.It is amazing though how your brain can trick you, I was convinced there was no color in it..... EDIT: Ok, seems like I probably first played it with a Mac Emulator in black and white. It's a really, really fascinating game and I advice everyone to try it. Not because it's good or fun. But because it has concept that I think barely any game before or since really touches upon: actual characters that the player interacts with, that have a PERSONALITY and react according to it to your actions.... It's crazy. Really crazy. Actually, it seems the designer is working with others on a kind of remake which will even include lying and stuff like that. Wow. www.siboot.org/

I'm looking for a browser game. I think it was on Lycos games' site, and it was a platformer starring a fox, or a squirrel or something. There was the original game, as well as I believe two sequels, though there might have just been one. The first game was a standard platform adventure where the fox saves his girlfriend or sister or somebody from bad guys, and in the sequel he's just going around collecting tokens/coins/stuff. If there's a second sequel, I think it starred the girlfriend/sister, and was structured like the first game. They were cartoony with a lot of blue and brown in the art design, and they had rather simple graphics, but I remember them being fun. I can't remember what the name of the game was, but I played it over a decade ago, so I'm not sure if it's still around today I'm still trying to figure out what this game was. Ugh!! I wish I had the faintest idea of where to begin searching

Figured I'd ask this on here:
I'm looking for a shareware title from the 90s for PC. It's a horizomtal space shooter, and some of the later levels (which the game demoed when not played) seemed to take place inside space ships even. I think some of the elements looked rather "cave-like" (not the company), so not 100% slick metal plates and all, but I could be wrong about it. I suppose it is a shareware game since it was on a shareware disk, but it could have been a demo as well. It was definitely for PC/DOS, and it was definitely horizontal. The timeframe I _SAW_ the game was ~1995/1996ish I guess. It's not Prototype or that final Apogee game from 1997.
Any ideas?

I don't see any screenshots of levels inside space ships, but do you think it's Tubular Worlds?

Hi guys, I just made an account to ask for your help. I've spent literally years looking for an japanese arcade game I use to play when I was a kid (36 years old now, so it's a bit old) it was very similar to kiki kaikai in the gameplay but, it have two players coop and more serious tone in general. The first level was pretty classic shooter style, you were riding a cloud (may it be Goku the character?) And you end getting to a small village in a cliff. The enemies were demons, ghosts and ninjas. Specially I remember the second level boss, a giant skeleton in a volcano or lava pit. You fight him from a wooden platform. I know that it's a pretty obscure game but, I will keep trying. Thanks for your help guys!
