Too bad Twinbee Paradise and Cosmic Fantasy still aren't subbed. I didn't even knew there was an anime of Cosmic Fantasy until this thread

For an article I was writing a few years back, I watched just about every anime (that was officially released in English) based on a fighting game. It was an experience that I don't particularly recommend, haha, but at least the article was fun to write. I also wrote an article about anime-based games on Saturn and games/series that appeared on Saturn that had been turned into anime. Edit 1: I checked out the list and I didn't knew that Battle Athletes began as a Saturn game. What kind of game was it? From quick search I learned from one site that it's a simulation game. In another site I read that it's a strategy game. Does anyone knows more details about this game? Also, I didn't knew that Idol Fighter Su-Chi-Pai anime began as a mahjong videogame francise from Jaleco. I added it to the list. OK, mahjong doesn't count as a traditional videogame but at least it's not a visual novel or hentai. Thanks Succubus.  By the way I added these text at the instructions of the list: Edit 2: Kikou Heidan J-Phoenix PF Lips Shoutai added to the list. I knew about this anime and that it was based on videogames but I thought that they were visual novels. Until I looked for the episodes on YouTube (I downloaded it too but unfortunately it's raw only) where I realised that the games were actually action mecha games. That was a pleasant surprise. And from a quick search at gamefaqs I learned that they were developed by Takara. |

Holy crap, that made my day. That was beyond fantastic. Agreed. That was really well done. Between that and Hiim Daisy/Gigi Didi's old fan comics, MGS fans do some fantastic things. ;D In the recommended videos for that clip, there was another clip from an anime called "best moment of any anime ever". It was really funny, but I have no idea what anime it's from. I know this isn't My Anime List or something, but can anyone tell me what anime that was? |

I added these anime to the list: - Mass Effect: Paragon Lost - Persona 4 the Animation: The Factor of Hope - Devil Survivor 2 The Animation (Wait! What happened to Devil Survivor 1?) - Inazuma Eleven GO: Chrono Stone - Gekijouban Inazuma Eleven GO vs Danball Senki W - Senran Kagura (What? It got its own anime adaption? And FUNimation got its licensed despite the fact that the game was never localized? Seriously!) Man! If Inazuma Eleven keeps releasing new anime every once in a while I will post only one tag about it, just like I did with Pokemon. I have the impression that I forgot to add some from the latest anime adaption. Too bad Twinbee Paradise and Cosmic Fantasy still aren't subbed. Actually volume 0 of Twinbee Paradise has been fansubbed but it's not mentioned at AniDB.net. Also you can find the raws for volume 1-3 but unfortunately in crappy quality. It's better than nothing. You can find them all at NyaaTorrents, just type Twinbee Paradise and you'll be OK. If there are not seeders for Volume 0 just send me a pm and I'll upload it for you. |

I'm surprised there isn't a movie or series based on MGS. It just writes itself out with the cutscenes and the Kojima trolling fans. We could use the next Code Geass like train wreck being serious camp. That isn't actually that bad an idea, someone make this happen! |

Wow! All these years I didn't knew that Medabots started as a videogame. I thought that the anime/manga were released at first and the videogames followed. Such a shame that there is not fansub for it. It was one of my favourite anime that was played at greek tv in early '00s along with One Piece and Digimon Tamers. Added to the list.

I was always quite fond of the Sonic OVA. Man, Sonic needs to be more of an asshole again. My childhood was the Sonic OVA. I played it so many times the VHS tape broke. And yes, Sonic should be more of an ass. "SHUT UP TAILS!" |
