Having played Shadow over Mystara (or whatever it was called) for a little bit, I'd be interested in at least playing them again - but I don't know yet if I'm up to writing another article quite yet.
Though if I do another article, I should probably do the Rastan Saga series.

Speaking of which, do you know the conditions to get the different ending text when you beat the game? Each character has 4 different ending text, but I'm missing a couple from the Knight and dwarf. No matter what I do I can't seem to get them.

I remember this game because it seems to randomly have very hard segments, the control and animation is surprisingly smooth and most importantly the coolest magic spells are almost impossible to get and then only at the absolute end of the game.

Any article about Capcom's D&D series should, at least, mention King of Dragons and its "prequels" Blacl Dragon and Magic Sword, in my opinion.

There's a really good gallery/information set on the games at fantasyanime.com/valhalla/ddarcade.htm In general that site (fantasyanime.com), is probably one of my favorite gaming sites out there, though its selection of games covered is relatively limited.

Ah, I was gonna post that link! I've played the ROMs of these games a bit (thanks to the above site) and it really makes me wish I'd had the chance to play this with 3 other people in an actual arcade. It's never the same playing these kinda games by yourself at a PC, ya know? I was kinda disapointed to learn that exp is just a normal beat 'em up score. It would have been cool if you actually leveled up like in a proper RPG.

You indeed level-up, but according to the stage you reach. Think about it - it's the only way to compensate single-players plays vs. 4-player plays.

I love these games. I still think its neat how you actually have to burn the troll boss or else he nevers dies...

People don't realize how much Capcom directly evolved it's games over time from a few specific ones. Black Tiger/Black Dragon is cool enough to deserve its own article though I'd say. This gives me an idea for an article though, SSI's Dungeons and Dragons games. I believe I own all of them except for Ravenloft: Stone Prophet and Advanced Dungeons and Dragons: Ravenloft: Iron and Blood: The Worst 3D Fighter Ever Made.
