www.hardcoregaming101.net/asura/asura.htmOne of the many unknown arcade fighting games you'll find in MAME. Technically there's not much that sets this apart from other more prominent 2D fighters, but it's attractive, and the gameplay is surprisingly smooth considering it's from an unknown developer.

Nice find! But why is the author talking about Ex Attacks as if they weren't in other games before?

Not related to the article at hand, but the puzzler referenced in the article (Gyakuten! Puzzle Bancho) is actually a good game too - the same basic idea as Konami's "Taisen Puzzle-dama" games but better-implemented all around.

S. Geist is constantly misspelled as S. Giest. Geist is German for ghost, hence the name.

I'll admit I found Asura Blade going through MAME games a few years ago. It's since been one of my favourite fighters - nice to read a comprehensive look at it.

Asura Buster is fast-paced and cool Fighting Games, i very like it.
My personal favs is Goat because he has comprehensive moveset (good maneuver, little by quantity, and perfect damaging)
About Asura Blade: IMHO Cerf is way, way, way, way, way, way easy than the final boss who can stretch his sword (thus has maximum maneuver advantage and can fill almost screen with its blade), and inflict gigantic-time damage. As cheap as many KOF Final boss if i may say
