Been looking forward to it for a long time and even posted a thread about it when it was still called Necromachina.

I didn't know about this before. It looks like it could be nice.

Been looking forward to it for a long time and even posted a thread about it when it was still called Necromachina. Oh, yeah. Sorry, I was afraid there was already a topic on it but we all know how well the search function works on these boards... Looking more closely at the HUD, I'm not looking forward to what looks like leveling up different skills. I hope it doesn't have too many opportunities for grinding, and instead has players living with the consequences of the few skills they level up the most. Or something.

Between this and Hard Corps Uprising I am going to be giving PSN more money than I ever have in a month.

Hard Corps: Uprising was phenomenal, and if Moon Diver is even half as good then I will be a happy camper.

This looks much better in motion than I anticipated. It also seems singleplayer wasn't neglected after all, which was my biggest concern from the early shots. Obviously the draw is coop, but it's good to see that it should be enjoyable by yourself.

Wow, I just noticed this post. How did I not know about this game?! It looks fucking awesome like a HD 4-player Strider on crack.
The trailer convinced me to buy Moon Diver day 1.

I hope it doesn't have too many opportunities for grinding, and instead has players living with the consequences of the few skills they level up the most. Or something. I think that would work out well. Or maybe they could go the Hardcorps Uprising route and have a mode where you can build up characters, separate from the main arcade mode.

Now I'm just waiting for the store to update here in the US... I've been reading some opinions on the game and I realize I had the wrong impression. It seems like much less of a standard arcade game than I thought it would be. The action still looks great and I expect the game will be good, but it's a little disheartening now that I have to adjust my expectations. official site's up: dlgames.square-enix.com/moondiver/

I just hope the full game is better than the demo (from Japanese PSN). It was pretty dull... I was pretty hyped for this too.
Awaiting impressions of the full game...
