Naomi emulation seems to be one of those fishy things that's kind of hard to keep track of explicitly.
So, I shall limit my question to the subject line: has Naomi emulation progressed to the point where Lupin III the Typing can be emulated? Or is something of that complexity still a long ways off?

Lupin the Typing boots in most Naomi emulators I'm aware of (i.e. Makaron, Demul, MAME, nullDC). Keyboard isn't emulated in anything tho (nobody ever reverse engineered scan code used by Naomi / DC).

For example (in MAME, running at about 20% here): Having no keyboard input means that, once you insert a coin you're stuck on title screen (just like a real system, if you hook up joysticks instead).

Well, it's a start. Any idea where any discussion regarding the matter may be taking place? It's probably a long shot that I'd be able to help, but just the same.

Idly Googling this evening, I came across www.bountysource.com/issues/60614490-naomi-compatibility-list-oit wherein someone asserts that "Lupin the Third - The Typing and The Maze of the King are playable." It looks like it's the Flycast core in libretro? I don't suppose anyone has Retroarch set up for testing this at the moment?
