As the board's resident Queen's Blade uberfan with no shame whatsoever (seriously you can never make me feel bad about loving the series in every way possible) I will be importing this. I already have the original and will be doing a full article on it, this, and QB in general for the site.

I wonder what kind of research was done to figure out which characters to include. I'm guessing they prowled the rows of Comiket and the doujin stores of Akihabara, saw which characters had the most porn involving them, and then licensed them.
So what kind of game is this anyway? The other Queens Blade PSP game(s?) were Super Robot Wars-y, right?

Queen's Gate is a licensed add on (using only licensed characters) of the original QB tabletop game, which in itself is a complete remake of an 80s American tabletop game called Lost Worlds. (All QB characters are remakes of them/original). All the gamebooks are compatible with it. I don't know how they got the licenses for it but all the ones in it besides the Namco Bandai characters are QG gamebook characters. They're SRW clones to the core. The girls even have movesets based on mechs, mostly Gundams, as far as I know. And now the whole board is gonna stare at me in this topic funny. Go right for it~ I love it all!

Yeah, Queen's Blade was straight up SRW with an attire damage gimmick and this looks to be the same. It's funny that 2 popular JP fighting game series are conspicuously missing from the list. Not sure whether that prudishness is worthy of respect or amusement.

"hides in a bunker" gtfo but no seriously her ova broke my heart and I ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS fall for the side characters alleyne/nowa/echidna for life elf side But back on topic, I'll try to import this as soon as I can after it gets out and get the article up. It should be a fun addition; I'll even cover the book game since it is a game.

My exact thoughts when I read the list. Of course, the hardcore otakus of Japan are the only real fanbase left for the PSP.

I don't think they could have possibly picked worse guest characters.

I don't think they could have possibly picked worse guest characters. I don't follow your reasoning. I think they chose exactly what I'd expect them to for a project like this. They chose the iconic, overtly sexualised characters from each franchise. I don't terribly like most of those characters, but I don't deny they're perfect for the target audience.
