Thread titles aside. Anyone want to tell me a little backstory about the simple 2000 series? because with a title like " Simple 2000 Series: The Maid Loaded with Machine Guns" it's got to be terrible and interesting

The "Simple" series (which includes Simple 2000, Simple 1500 for PS1, Simple DS, among others) is a series of budget titles by D3 Publisher. They used to just focus on the popular themes like mahjong and tetris games, but now they seem to be experimenting with other....unique concepts. Concepts like The Daibijin, which involves a gigantic bikini-clad woman stomping through a city. And then there was one shown at E3 this year, I think - Zombies VS Ambulance.

Some of them have been relesed in europe under different names by 505 game street as their "simply 20" series. The Daibijin is now "Demolition Girl, for instance.

They also ported the bizarre Korean arcade game Come On Baby, a Track'n Field style game starring an all baby cast. I actually played it in an arcade, and after seeing one of the babies pull his diaper down in a victory dance, I'm wishing that I didn't.
