Magician? Very nice. I've honestly never ran into another person who had that one.

Most of the rest of them, but not all of them. The wrinkled one is Wario's Woods, if you're wondering. I've never, ever seen a copy of the game that wasn't like that. edit: also, one of the copies of Ghosts 'n Goblins is actually Kid Icarus. Dunno how that happened. edit 2: The 5th one from the top in the middle row is a pirate copy of Gyrodine.

SCD and some Saturn. Worth noting: Lunar 1 and 2, Popful Mail, The Space Adventure, Vay, Shining Force CD. The Shining the Holy Ark and the Panzer Zwei cases are empty because I don't have the discs but I intend to get them. Wii, GC, more Saturn, my NGPC games, and longbox PS1.

Rebel Assault? Ouch. Interesting that you have Revengers of Vengence, though. Based on a true story...

Is that Brutal: Paws of Fury I see in your SCD collection?

90% of my SCD and Saturn games were given to me for free. Actually, that's only about 1/4th of the games I got; I threw out the rest. I kept those only because they were complete and in the so-bad-they're-good category or at least interesting conversation pieces. edit: Also, sealed MP Trilogy

Ah, you have some Player's Choice releases on the Gamecube. This is something I always struggle with as a collector. I have a dozen or so "greatest hits" releases that I keep meaning to replace with original release versions, but I can't justify spending the money on the same game twice when there are new things to pursue.

Those games are generally harder to replace with black cases, especially Twin Snakes. I'm not so concerned about my GC stuff.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who thinks like that. I really struggled with the PS2 Silent Hill 2- the original had the nice cardboard packaging and making of DVD but the greatest hits one came with the bonus Maria scenario :\ It's not just the bonus content thing- it's those ugly as sin boxes they gave them.

SH2 is one of the rare instances where it's okay to have the greatest hits version. Can't think of many others, though. The Platinum Hits version of Fable had the Lost Chapters content from the PC, which was missing from the original Xbox release. Those two are about all that come to mind.
But yeah, even so...the boxes always look different from the "regular" ones, which makes my skin crawl slightly.
