What do you think of the video game console wars?

What do you think of the video game console wars? which will die out first.?
The price dropped for xbox360 which at a very attractive price of $199. Makes me want to get it so I can start playing games and save some $.

What do you think of the wii? I am more into action , fps , adventure games Xbox 360 Controller with fighting and stuff. I dont think Wii can deliver that. I think it's going to be another gamecube.

PS3 is expensive! it has bluray built in, but the technology is still new and expensive. By the time PS3 controller does drop the price, you can expect Bluray dvd players stand-alone for under $100. The bluray movies are so expensive!!!.

The PS3 is region-free, which makes it #1 in my book, but software-wise, they're all lacking.

360 has a great thing going with XBLA, but they need some creative people to push the Kinect past gimmick and into revolutionary territory. It's got the potential, but I'm not buying the thing for Dance Central alone (though I do love that game, hahaha). Also it's not region-free.

I've played a few fun Wii games (I love Tatsunoko vs Capcom more than I ever thought I would) and VC/WiiWare has some great stuff coming up, but it's not region-free.

Most of the 'killer-app' I've played on the PS3 either bored the hell out of me, or has a comparable release for the PSP. GT5 is the only game I'd consider buying the thing for, but that would require buying an expensive peripheral (which would totally be worth it, but then I'd want to buy a huge TV, and ahh...).

All other things being equal (as in, the Wii and 360 could magically play games of any region), the one thing that would make me take a PS3 over everything else is that Way of the Samurai 4 only came out on PS3. That leads me to believe that if and when Acquire makes Shinobido 2, it'll be PS3-only as well. I'm not taking any chances until I know for sure.

What? I think you're really late to the party. The Wii has outsold everyone already. And the GC, while it had good games, was already 99 dollars in its second year and the Xbox, a console with much less interesting games, outsold it in the USA.
