I'm going to be seconding the Mars Matrix and Bangai-O recommendations here. The home port of Mars Matrix is one best out there for a shoot 'em up and as much as I liked Bangai-O Spirits much more than I thought I would, it doesn't match up to the Dreamcast original (I know of the N64 one, but I haven't played it). Try and find the PAL release if you can, however. For some reason, its translation seems to be even more screwed up than the US release (at least in the intro anyway...and the game over screen). Also, the DC port of Twinkle Star Sprites is very mint too, if quite pricey. Although, it has no slowdown, loadtimes and boasts an improved soundtrack and the option to play with the Engrish language track (because it makes this wacky game all the better, right? )

I haven't broken my Dreamcast out in years. I should probably try to scoop up some of the more obscure games for it that I never played.
