I might eventually check out the 360 version (you know, when I get a 360.) Because it looks relatively interesting. I'm generally not one for fps, besides the Timesplitters series, unless they have enough of a story for me to get past the wooziness first person movement causes me and my general dislike of violence. (if you must know, I can go ahead and give you an exact list of the only fps I've actually enjoyed [with the exception of the charmingly goofy and nonoffensive Timesplitters games]: Marathon, Marathon 2, Marathon Infinity, Half-Life, Half-Life 2, System Shock 2, Deus Ex, Halo, and Halo 2. I'm a pretty insular bastard) but this game looks at least marginally interesting.

I don't really have the means to try this game at the moment, I'll find some other way later, but... This game sounds like it has the LAMEST soundtrack ever. Judas Priest? MxPx? Maybe it's just the experience of wasting stuff to this music that makes it great, but I don't think I'm going to be able to stomache the soundtrack for very long. Is the soundtrack actually bands like this, or am I missing something? What other bands are featured in this game? -GoTaS

Blue Oyster Cult, man!
Actually, they only play at certain parts of the game. Like, all of the licensed music thus far has only been in the bar, where there's a jukebox, so it makes sense on the context of the game. The rest of the game is either silent or has atmospheric music.

gota if you don't like the licensed music they've chosen how are you able to play cd versions of stuff like Ys or most of SNK's games? But yeah the music is used very appropriately overall, great soundtrack. Look on the bright side, like ed said back in 1997 or so (?) KMFDM recorded some music for use specifically with this game (among some of their other songs) but that stuff is nowhere to be found.

You lose. Da da DA, Da da DA, dadada...dada da da hey, the Morrowind soundtrack was very catchy! ;D Anyway, like Kurt said, it's got Blue Oyster Cult. Awesome. It's even got a terrible Pac-Man clone with an insanely high default score (I need to go back to that and see if I can't beat it, even though I hate the game). No. And, personally, your ears will thank you. For my part, it's been years since I was the age where I would've appreciated KMFDM. Not a bad band, but jus' saying. Been listening to them for a good 10 years and I'm still happy with them Couldn't have seen their style complimenting an atmospheric FPS but I was just curious! I've got no beef with loud music, but watch the volume! That stuff can destroy your ears.
