hg101.classicgaming.gamespy.com/opcfg/The only reason this took so long is because I needed to get rid of all of the stupid Javascript code that Geocities put on each and every page. I'm pretty sure I haven't gotten rid of it all either. Plus I'm sure there are broken links all over, since the original site was split between like four accounts. I fixed what I could and it should mostly work, except the menu in some pages. Still, at least it's not lost in the oblivion!

What is that site exactly about? I've been to it a few times and all I see is some reviews, articles and someone's collection, but I don't really see what the site's supposed to be about.

Oh, sweet! I must've just visited it before it went "down" (i.e. a month or two ago); I'm glad it's finally getting a proper home (well, better than geocities, anyway).

I object to that top-100 list for sheer cliché-ness!

Awesome to still see it up, even if it is essentially dead. What is that site exactly about? I've been to it a few times and all I see is some reviews, articles and someone's collection, but I don't really see what the site's supposed to be about. Just a humble video game site run by one man (Dire 51) and maintained by another (me!). It's pretty much dead now, but at least it is in archives. It's not really about anything but classic games, but my motto is "Keep it simple." What?!? Please, do explain.

Initially it was about about games that never crossed the ocean, in an attempt to persuade publishers to bring their stuff over (this started back when Konami cancelled the Gradius package for the PSOne.) It's since morphed into a general classic gaming site, but still focusing on imports. The meat of the site are the reviews and the features. There's a lot of cool stuff in there.

Sorry for the old thread revival, but I haven't been here in ages, and I wanted to give a belated public thanks to Kurt for taking care of the archiving for me. I object to that top-100 list for sheer cliché-ness! Out of curiosity, how do you figure that? Those are my favorite games.
