Heh, i wonder if having Ant-Man in the photo with Hawkeye is just for show. (Doubt it, but who can say.)
No matter how clear the photo, i still dunno what's going on with Wolveine. Arthur looks awesome though.

Ant-Man's part of Hawkeye's special and I wouldn't be surprised if he's part of his win animation or in some ending vids.

If that's the case then it pretty much goes without saying that Ant-Man will be in the ending for Hawkeye.

Firebrand and Nick are amazing. I'm a little iffy on Vergil. Some characters I just click with instantly (like Firebrand) and Vergil isn't one of them.
Morrigan seems to have gotten more than enough buffs to make up for the airdash blocking removal. She's a meter-building monster now.

Wait, it's out now? I haven't been keeping up on all release dates and such, but allow me to ask the million-dollar question right away: Is UMvC3 better than MvC2? Granted, I know that's objective and it's probably too soon to tell, but on at least a roster-based observation, this does seem to outdo EVO's favorite Mahvel... and it goes without saying that this makes the original completely obsolete unless you were a staunch Jean Grey player. I admit that I probably won't get this one for a while since I'm still pretty mad at Capcom and I don't feel like dignifying their payroll with my money, but I don't wish to discourage anyone from getting UMvC3. If anything, I await to hear further opinions. That doesn't mean I'll poo-poo the obligatory "we got rooked out of a REAL Mega Man and this costume is a rather insulting compensation" bashing.  |

Rocket's traps have a great deal of potential for really hateful gameplay, in particular the log trap, since it's nearly full screen, very fast and can be used anywhere.
Nick (at least for right now) has so much health that he works great on point, and he can (unreliably) heal himself by picking up meat as evidence. It shouldn't take much to get used to him, I can get him into Turnabout mode pretty quickly, at which point he becomes buttfuck incarnate.

Not a tournament-level player, so my opinions are garbage (day!), but I still would rather have Alex, Bison, Kaijin no Soki, ANYONE over freaking Nemesis.
Still maining Chris, even if he wasn't meant for that purpose. I've dropped Dante for Rocket, though. I'm obviously not playing online, haha.

4 Street Fighter characters isn't enough for you? Well, I never wanted Viper in the first place. Alex is a gaping hole (I can't quite get over Haggar's lariat draining his own life. Remember, I'm not a tournament player.) Bison is also a gaping hole, but then, someone on staff has a major aversion to Charge Characters. And compared to there being 4 Resident Evil characters? In retrospect, I suppose I'm almost surprised that Leon, Claire, and Monster Steve weren't part of Capcom's additions. |

My pre-order came in the mail today. I only played a little bit - did some missions for Pheonix Wright, Rocket Raccoon, and Ghost Rider. Ghost Rider definitely seems like a candidate for my main team, and Rocket is a blast to play as well. Not really gonna use Wright, but that's mostly because I never really played those games so the fanservice is wasted on me.

Aye... whatever happen to Anakarisand B.B. Hood? They did go a tad overboard with the RE fighters. They should have left it with Chris and Wesker. (I'd say Jill too, but i like her fighting style better in MVC2.) Need to put in Gambit, Anakaris and Bison. Megamen pretty much goes without saying but i'm not about to get into that. |
