Supposedly, if someone had gotten what they wanted we would've seen a lot more Darkstalkers characters. But at the last moment the hand was restrained and we only got 3. Aye... whatever happen to Anakarisand B.B. Hood? They did go a tad overboard with the RE fighters. They should have left it with Chris and Wesker. (I'd say Jill too, but i like her fighting style better in MVC2.) Need to put in Gambit, Anakaris and Bison. Megamen pretty much goes without saying but i'm not about to get into that. I'd prefer Psylocke to Gambit.

It definitely needed more Capcom villains. Someone from Darkstalkers like Lord Raptor, and not Talbain, whom Capcom wanted. And Bison should've gotten in instead of neutral baddie Akuma, even though I understand Marvel crossovers require him as tradition. I believe Marvel nixed Gambit. Was initially one of the characters Capcom asked for.

There are many fighters i want in the game but with those two, and the way they change things, i'd say Gambit. Course they still need more popular one's such as Cyclops, Venom and Cable.

Someone who would have REALLY been interesting, though I wonder what sort of changes she would have had to be put through to balance her (especially against the characters with "Gatling" style super moves like Deadpool, Dante, and Rocket), would have been Karin Kanzuki with her SNK-esque Punch Chains and Counter Holds.

Good point... she was one of the few fighters in MVC2 that i hated to fight due to her insane moves. Bad-ass teleport spells too. Though like i said, i have a feeling they'd screw her up... look at Frank West. He was one of my best fighters in TVC but in UMVC3 they changed him... he's almost nothing like he was before. (Better voice actor at least.) If however they could make Psylocke a fighter, without screwing up her already awesome move list, i'm all for it.

So ummm anybody want to play this game? Sorry Ike, I'm on PSN (NineInchSamurai if anyone wants to add me). I played some more with Ghost Rider and he's definitely going into my team. Now I just have to decide if I want to replace Dante. Right now I know I'm doing Taskmaster/Ghost Rider so I kind of have a "dudes with skulls for faces" thing going, so I could add Dormammu to maintain the theme.

I can't come up with a 3rd member I'm comfortable with for my team.
Chris and Rocket are locks and I've been alternating between Akuma, Dante, Hiryu, and Captain America for the 3rd.

you might want try out morrigan, she has a really nice meter gain assist (her others aren't too hot, though) wesker and all of his teleporting are absolutely nasty and magneto's EM Disruptor is one of the best (at least, my favorite and most useful IMO) assists in the game

Morrigan is amazing now in spite of her air dash block being removed. She's the best thing for anti-Phoenix because you only have to hit her once with the meter drain to completely fuck up anybody trying to shift to Dark Phoenix. I've won a few games against those cheap shitheads online by using her mirror image move and spamming it.

I don't really know the first thing about even HOW to play at a competitive level, as far as theory goes (forget execution). Wesker's not happening. I know he's always been a top of the heap guy, but I can't stand his playstyle.

He's stronger now than he ever was. Without his glasses on he can take out Hulk in 1-2 combos.
