I thing the real wolvie nerf is removing berserker slash invunerability, i won countless fights with him as an anchor by pure spamming of it into berserker barrage x xfc berserker barrage. Even though they nerfed him, at least playing friends and stuff, Wolverine is still a one-man army. Trying to branch out though, using Spencer and other folks more.

Fuck cancer. Capcom is the space-AIDS of the gaming industry.
I have a really good analogy explaining why but it's kind of homophobic, and that would be very Capcom-like.

Bah! I'll bet you'll be wetting your pants if one of the new characters turns out to be Mega Man.

Y'know, putting aside how stupid this is, and how much i laughed when i saw the link, i actually wouldn't mind if they released it. I've yet to get Ultimate mainly because i was afraid something like this would happen. The more characters in MVC the better. (Just make it DLC rather than making a new title.) Edit: Heh... figures. Well i suppose it was a fun idea. None of us would be too surprised if it did happen. (kinda disappointed acually.)

According to Capcom reps it's fake. Didn't those same reps deny Ultimate MvC3 and say that all future updates would be DLC? After seeing how Capcom has handled SFxT, I'm definitely not putting this one past them. This is exactly the sort of shit Capcom is known for pulling.

Honestly, Capcom's representatives' word holds as much water as the boy who cried wolf or your average politician.

No Capcom rep's didn't deny Ultimate. Heck they all but announced it before launch MvC3 launch. Link - n4g.com/news/652361/super-marvel-vs-capcom-3-in-the-worksMost of the posters on the MvC3, knew full well a disc update was coming. We just weren't expecting it less than a year after the release of the first game. We were expecting a fair amount of DLC characters and than like after a period of 1 and a 1/2 years a disc version. Honestly, most of the people who didn't expect an update we're the Capcom defenders who figured that Capcom had only ever done this with their SF franchise and wouldn't go on to do it with MvC3.

I'm pretty sure at one time they denied that there would be another disc release, but I might be mistaken. In any case, Ultimate set a bad precedent, and Seth didn't outright state that there wouldn't be any more DLC, just that the poster was possibly a photoshop.

A few things to note about the poster.
Mainly, it's really saying something about your company practices when someone can whip up a fake poster announcing yet another disc release of a game that's already been released twice and the majority of people who look at it will instantly and uncritically believe it.
Secondly, it would have been even more believable if it had had more spelling errors

The way I see it, if they were going to make another version on a disc, they could have handled things much worse. Fans would have been really upset if they had released a bunch of paid DLC for the first version and then made a second version that had exclusive new content as well as all of the DLC characters from the first iteration. Since there aren't any new DLC characters in UMvC3, a third disc-based installment seems fair game to me.
