The newly-launched International America division is seeking fan feedback on unlocalized games. Via their facebook page. www.facebook.com/LEVEL5IAThe 10 titles listed in the studio's Facebook poll are the following: - Professor Layton vs. Ace Attorney (3DS) - Professor Layton and the Mask of Miracle (3DS) - Fantasy Life (3DS) - Girl's RPG Cinderelife (3DS) - Time Travelers (3DS) - The Little Battlers (PSP) - Ni no Kuni (PS3 Version) - Ni no Kuni (DS Version) - Inazuma Eleven (DS) - Inazuma Eleven Strikers (Wii) As of this writing the lead vote-getter is Professor Layton vs. Ace Attorney, as American fans certainly would love to see that Level-5/Capcom cross-over come to the States. Ni no Kuni's PS3 version is in second place, and the race for third is on between pretty much every other title listed. (Except for the girl RPG.) I personally made up my mind for Professor Layton x Phoenix Wright, but my heart still wants some of that Studio Ghibli goodness in the form of Ni No Kuni. Here's a trailer for the PS3 version of Ni No Kuni Here's a trailer for Professor Layton x Phoenix Wright

"The girl RPG" already got my vote two days ago. Nah, I voted for the PS3 version of Ni no Kuni, despite not owning the system. I just want to have a chance at playing it in English one wonderful day.

Ni No Kuni, as I saw Layton/Wright's stats and decided that it was already over.

But Ni no Kuni apparently sold terribly in Japan...

Personally I'm not all that interested in any of those games. I decided to vote Time Travelers though, because out of those it seemed to catch my attention the most.

Why are they asking us? It's not like any of these games are actually coming Stateside, even if they do get a million hits or likes or whatever they call them.

I imagine they're all going to reach the States at some point, so I imagine the point of the poll is just which ones we'll get first.

Well, that would be implied by low sales. However, I was just going off hearsay. Looked around, and you're right on both counts. Wikipedia claims 500,000 units sold for the DS version. That's not a runaway success, but for Japan that's pretty decent.

Out of curiosity, is it because the game sold badly or because it is in fact a lousy game? Because apparently a lot of people (companies especially) think that both are one and the same.

But Ni no Kuni apparently sold terribly in Japan... That it did; I think Ghibli's participation backfired, as this game hardcore lacks Ghibli magic. It's hardly a good game by Level 5 standards. Bought the DS version for the lovely magic book. I gave away the game, kept the book.
