It's weird finding out about stuff like these after all these years Mr Perfect from the Castlevania Realm made me aware of an alternate Castlevania 3 credits list if you play the game under the name "Gameteam". It doesn't contain different screens or anything, but the cast list is different. Something nice and new to know about our lovable Castlevania 3. And if this is old I guess I could just shoot myself in the head. Here are the images from his site: www.vgmuseum.com/mrp/end-cv3.htm

Wow I didn't know about that either. Mobygames has the full credit list for CV3 though, so this must've been around for awhile...

Yeah it has been around, for over 6 years! I went to zophar.net to download my very own Castlevania 3 nesticle save states I did back in April 2000 and what do I see in the credits? The staff list! A game I've beaten a million years, my favorite Castlevania and I don't notice it until now! sheesh.
A long time ago someone actually told me that there was another ending if you beat CV3 on the second run with Trevor alone. I went ahead and did it and saw nothing different in the ENDING. What I failed to notice was the credits. I guess I did those saves after what that person told me. It had to be like that because there was no reason whatsoever why I would beat the game 2 times to make saves of their endings if they weren't different.
Mr.Perfect got it partially wrong when he said that you needed to enter the name "gameteam" to get those credits. Gameteam puts the game on hard mode (AKA second loop), so what you really need to do is beat the game on hard mode and not necessarily by inputting the gameteam name.

If I remember correctly, these credits also appear if you finish CV3 twice in a row, but it's been so long I can't remember if that's the case.
Edit: Looks like Rey beat me to this same point.
